I'm astounded by all of the positive reviews. This hotel is pretty awful. Small pretentious lobby, unfriendly staff, tiny clinical room, no bar, no room service, no coffee. The ONLY good thing about it is the location. more

Chose BP Hotel for our wedding guests after they agreed to give us a very competitive rate. We weren't sure if it would fit our Southern, traditional tastes but the accomodations and service more than exceeded our expectations. Service at this charming hotel is unsurpassed! They treated us like friends. Near Times square and close to the subway, this hotel faces Bryant Park and is amazingly quite. The Celler bar in the basement grooves with great tunes. Rooms are spacious but the bathrooms are larger than most comprable hotels at this price range. Will stay here next trip! more
