Great lobby but standrard room is extremely small, cools style but not comfortable. Not suited for business traveler; no easy outlet for laptop, "desk" is tiny, no comforable chair, metal desk chair is the only chair in the room more

ok so the rooms are small, i wasn't planning to spend any time there. The rest of the hotel and its amenities make up for it. Its exciting vibe and since i was there alone it worked out well that there were a couple bars in the hotel that i can hang out at... Great place. more

This was my first time staying in an NYC hotel alone, normally at a friends or with family. I read the reviews good & bad, but i had a pretty decent stay. I live and work in NYC. I stayed at the Hudson one night because it was close to an event I needed to be at very early in the AM. DO NOT STAY HERE!!! The rooms were horribe. Our first room was on one the sixth floor so it was very very loud, loud enough that you couldn't sleep even with the window closed. The street outside constantly had people yelling, cars honking, garbage trucks banging. The room itself was tiny and there was mildew all over the ceiling.
