Downstairs there are some good (pricy)bars and lots of room. Hotel looks good. However when you get upstairs it resembles a cellblock. The room boasted the smallest shower/toilet/washstand area that I have ever seen. I am 5'10'' and average build. If I had been any rounder or taller I could not have used the toilet. Location is good and staff... More

This was a great place to stay on our visit to NYC. The rooms are small, but that was expected. But when you're in NYC all you need is a good bed and clean room to sleep in and this definitely is the place for that. Location is good - close to Central Park, Hell's Kitchen (with good food options)... More

It is a great place to stay, if you want to feel the vibe of the city. It is not trendy and superficial but a real place for "real" people who come to meet and have some fun' with good music in the background 24/7. In the Hotel bar I saw some of the most interesting actors and artists' and... More

As soon as I checked in, I plugged in my cell phone and it blew a breaker because all the electricity went out. I called the front desk with my cell phone and then had to call them again about 30 minutes later for someone to fix the problem. I have stayed here before and know the rooms are small... More

All good but no tea or coffee making facilities. Also no restsurant for breakfast. All about the 3 bars and cocktails. Very ordinary food in main bar. Conceirge very helpful. Staff friendly. Great location. My account should have been in Aust dollars.

To Crowsha, I would first like to thank you for writing a quick review of Hudson. During your stay we didn't have an in-house breakfast or lunch option however our room service could of helped you out with either coffee or tea. I understand though that room service isn't for everyone. However we will be opening up Hudson Common in... More

We arrived to find we were in one... More

OK. This is supposed to be a "hip" hotel. What it really is is a glorified hostel. It used to be a dormitory, people! And the rates aren't cheap! The rooms are so tiny (yes, I know alot of NYC hotel rooms are), you have to turn sideways to scoot around the (double) bed. We were booked into this hotel... More

The Hudson's guest services go above and beyond the call of duty to ensure that every guest who stays in their hotel is treated like family. I am more than impressed with their guest relations manager, Alex. The Hudson's amazing staff and beautiful hotel will definitely make me return again and again.

Stayed in this hotel in February, had an excellent stay. Rooms are rather on the small side but comfortable. Great location near central park, plenty of nice restaurants and delis near to grab breakfast. Around a 20 minute walk to times square. We were really impressed with the lobby and bar areas. Unfortunately with it being February the garden terrace... More
