I've gone to the Hudson to drink with friends plenty of times, and if that's what you're looking for its a great spot. But if you're planning to stay the night be prepared to shell out some dough and finally get to see the smallest hotel room in the world!

Would only stay at the hotel again provided the price was (significantly!) reduced - thankfully, I was on my own otherwise the room was too claustrophobic to accommodate 2 people. Could hear the couple in the neighbouring room as they went about their 'business' late one night - walls are paper thin! The public areas of the hotel are quite... More

The standard room is very small. The bathroom was shower only and had see through curtain so the person in other room could see you take shower and use toilet, definitely strange and could potentially be uncomfortable if you travel with someone you do not know well enough to watch you shower or use toilet. There is loud music playing... More

Stayed for 5 nights in August 2014. Having been forewarned on TripAdvisor, I was prepared for the small size of the room. I have encountered this before in NYC. I had a "Superior" room on the 14th floor facing the corner of 58th St. and 9th Ave. The bedroom itself was barely large enough to accommodate the queen size bed... More

Nice hotel, close to times square, but the rooms are so tiny we couldnt open both our suitcases at the same time. Staff were fantastic and very accomodating . Would stay there again but id try and get a larger room,

I stayed at this hotel for 7 nights in July. My room was great, definitely amazing value for money. I loved the rooftop & the gym too. I think the 'cantine' on the ground floor is little bit out of place ... I would much rather prefer a normal hotel restaurant with a decent service. Overall - a great hotel... More

The room is small but the hotel knows how to maximise space and is clean and comfortable. Having stayed at St. Martins' Lane before, this hotel seemed okay. The corridors are a bit creepy (the colour layout and dim lights). Nice bar and front desk service. Concierge service could do with less attitude.

Love the theme, location and staff. Only problem no pool, but was to busy visiting NY city to go swimming any way. Do not book this hotel through price line if you are looking for a family though-they have singles and rooms only large enough for 2 and to get a room that can actually fit 4-it is far cheaper... Was one month in New York to study. Spend a lot of time in that hotel. My first days in the City I slept there. I had an amazing time. Excellent service! Then I moved on campus but kept coming to the hotel sky terrace, night club and restaurant. I now tell everybody I know that if they go to... More

On the plus side: location, location, location. Reasonable price for NY, 15th floor terrace, ground floor courtyard for drinks and "happy hour", relatively clean, cabs always available. On the down side: bus terminal atmosphere in lobby, floor halls give the feeling you're in a hospital or prison, rooms noisy until late at night due to either street traffic or courtyard... More
