Items were stolen from my room during my stay. The hotel staff did not even budge when I reported it, nor did they do anything to make it right. Do not stay here - stay anywhere else. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and I will never stay here again.

Hudson hotel is poor value in NY hotels. I stay 30-40 nights a year in mid-town and this was about the worst value I've had in years. The front desk clerk was ignorant, surly, and slow. We just finished our 5-night stay with my girlfriend and had the worst service and hotel experience in our lives. A busy hotel, with modern decor. Small rooms, but they everything you need. As others have mentioned, a better elevator system needed, as there can be long waits during busy periods.
