If you're looking for a funky boutique-style hotel in a great location (next to Central Park) with a comfy bed and reasonable price then this is the place for you. The rooms are small and the bathrooms even more so, but they're comfortable and have good amenities. Great for a couple of nights in the city. There's a great bar... More

Staff was extremely friendly and service oriented. Hotel has a modern, trendy vibe. Beautiful common spaces. Tho' it is difficult to see them because it is so dark...really, turn up the.ights a little! Room was really small, especially the bathroom. Again, the lighting was poor. Room was very clean. I love that there is no carpeting. Bed was comfortable and... More

Great Location, friendly staff, good bfast options, however a few points that need attention, housekeeping must improve as a lot of times i felt the room was not cleaned as per standards, Limited room service is a downer and also the elevators especially in the mornings can be a drain on your patience. But i was happy overall.

Great hotel, Nice atmosphere and lots of interesting people at the hotel bars. Rooms are too small though and elevators are not enough. Breakfast was excellent with different choices. Location is perfect.

Be prepared to feel like your in a tent. Very small rooms even for NY. We booked four nights but left after one night. Staff friendly but just not our cup of tea. Moved over to the Dumont to spread out wings a little.

Booked 2 nights here for my daughter's birthday b/c it's her favorite place. Booked 2 nights and due to family situation had to cancel 1st night. Reserved rooms through AAA. When I called to cancel 1 night, the reservations female was one of the nicest I've dealt with, ever! Hotel had been booked solid nights before we arrived, so we... More

Spend 5 days in the Hudson hotel in May- very good location and the Hotel has a very stylish design. However the rooms are very very small, quite loud as the street is busy and window quality is not good enough to protect . We ask for a twin bed room weeks before our arrival and were told it is... Very nice hotel, a little dark but nice location. Close to Central Park, subway, walking distance to Times Square (20 min) and overall good service. The only thing we did complain about was the cleaning. Floors were not cleaned properly and sheet were not changed during the entire stay, even though we called reception. I think you should be able... More

I live in NYC, and I love going to the Hudson for a drink to unwind after work. The bar in the library area is my favorite, though it can get crowded. When that happens, I prefer the courtyard. The staff has always been extremely courteous. I haven't eaten at the current restaurant, so can't leave a review about that,... More

Excellent location and very helpful staff. Much better than the alternatives in the area. For business travelers planning a short stay, perfect hotel. I would definitely go back and stay here in my next visit.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
