4 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

Let me start by saying I got a crazy deal to go to NYC at the end of Feb, start of March. We did 5 nights and my package included the stay at the Hudson. I had a quick look at the place online and it looked good and good location. I also read about small rooms and that it... More

I was there with my daughter last February 2015. The hotel has really nice common areas, I absolutely loved the snooker table room and I am sure the garden is to die for in the summer. The only disappointing thing are the rooms! really, really tiny. In particular the bathroom. But I can live this that, as the hotel was... More

Location, (close to subway, 10 minutes walk to time square ,5 minutes walk to Central Park, big choices of restaurants & pubs near by. Front desk agents were very friendly all of them from the check in to the check out day. Superior room was small for two people but it had everything it needed & very comfortable bed. Well... More

The Hudson's decor is divine! They have so many places to relax and get work done or socialize. There's a library tucked away in the corner, a open garden(warmer days), and a large cafeteriaesque eating hole that hosts a ton of cool events. The rooms are a little small -- but so nicely decorated, that you won't notice that much.... More

I was told this was a 4 star hotel and did not meet up to it's standards. When I checked in there was food left in the mini fridge. They did change our room but only to a room that had a bed so worn out I could feel the springs in my back. Then to top it off the... More

Rooms are insanely tiny and in need of renovation. noisy at all hours, paper thin walls, you will hear something that sounds like rats climbing behind the walls. Concierge sucked and couldn't offer any nearby activities/suggestions. Bellmen expected crazy tips. Overall experience sucked. Lobby decor and bar scene was ok

Amazing place! The staff is incredible, super helpful and friendly. Place is very trendy, colorful, stuff is going on at all times. We had a blast at Half and Half on Saturday night, dancing until it closed.

Let me start with the positives - 1) great location, 2) great price*, 3) nice decor I called a few days prior to my stay to add an alert to my reservation because my flight was arriving between midnight and 1am, I had to call 3 times to get someone on the phone and then when I finally spoke with... The location for this hotel is what first brought it to our attention; right near the subway, central park and everything else you need when you're in NYC. As mentioned many times before, the rooms are a squeeze, but having said that, you're in New York - how much time are you actually planning to spend in there? We stayed... More

The hotel has a great vibe despite the small size of the rooms. At check-in we were upgraded to a superior room which was a pleasant surprise for our 15 year anniversary and we loved all the different bars and eateries to choose from. Our only complaint was that the bartender in The Library had no personality and didn't even... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
