Terrible, tiny rooms that are stocked with paper cups, 'chiller boxes' rather than fridges and if you think about complaining expect surly, unapologetic and rude service. When we checked in to our (shoebox) room the TV wasn't working, the bedside lights weren't working, there were no toiletries (hand soap) in the bathroom (cupboard!). However it was the air conditioning fan... More

This is a tourist hotel good quality but basic fab location ideal for exploring this wonderful city. All amenities on the doorstep 24 hours a day. Staffed by hard working diligent people who make your visit special. Thank you Team Hudson.

Easy to miss when driving past. Entrance not inviting. Once you go up the escalator you are in reception. Very dimly lit (on purpose). Staff very friendly. The room we were allocated already had people in it but we were given another room straight away when we informed the staff. Plenty of lifts. Corridors are grey carpeted with grey walls... More

On walking into the lobby your expectations were raised as it looked stunning. A glass atrium covered in ivy and dark, moody lighting creates a great atmosphere. The staff were always helpful and polite and did their best to help. After being awake for nearly 24 hours we got to our double room at nearly 1 am and all I... More

I have a love/hate relationship with this hotel. I love the hip decor but hate the micro small rooms. Also the resort fee is ridiculous. It is still kind of a fun place to stay. The staff is very helpful. The location is good with good transportation and restaurants nearby.

If you're looking for a glamorous, spacious room - keep looking! I needed a clean bathroom, and comfortable bed. That is exactly what I got, with fantastic pillows, and a great location. Reasonably priced for Manhattan. Would definitely stay there again!

I feel this hotel fell far short of a 4 star. The check-in/checkout process was very long. As its been stated the rooms are tiny, however going in with that knowledge we were still shocked at the cruise ship type size. The bed was a twin at best with a lumpy mattress. The lobby is very nice and it seems... More

It was our first time to NYC and didn't really know what to expect! We were told by numerous people it is best to stay within the Times Square/Broadway area but the prices were through the roof! I have sold the Hudson Hotel as a travel agent previously so thought it was only right I visited the hotel I had... More

There a couple of issues with this hotel that people should be aware of: 1. Tiny rooms, I traveled in a lot of places in and out side of the USA, have never encountered a 4 start hotel with such small rooms. Actually I think that a 3 star hotel should be ashamed with such room size. 2. I reserved... More

This was the second time staying here. I stayed here as it was on offer on Expedia for £120. I was due to stay somewhere else but changed it because of the price of this. The location is ok. Right by the park. The lobby is busy but nice and the reception staff were attentive and seemed pleased to see... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
