I feel this hotel fell far short of a 4 star. The check-in/checkout process was very long. As its been stated the rooms are tiny, however going in with that knowledge we were still shocked at the cruise ship type size. The bed was a twin at best with a lumpy mattress. The lobby is very nice and it seems... More

It was our first time to NYC and didn't really know what to expect! We were told by numerous people it is best to stay within the Times Square/Broadway area but the prices were through the roof! I have sold the Hudson Hotel as a travel agent previously so thought it was only right I visited the hotel I had... More

There a couple of issues with this hotel that people should be aware of: 1. Tiny rooms, I traveled in a lot of places in and out side of the USA, have never encountered a 4 start hotel with such small rooms. Actually I think that a 3 star hotel should be ashamed with such room size. 2. I reserved... More

This was the second time staying here. I stayed here as it was on offer on Expedia for £120. I was due to stay somewhere else but changed it because of the price of this. The location is ok. Right by the park. The lobby is busy but nice and the reception staff were attentive and seemed pleased to see... More

It was our first time in New York..when we arrived there was a loud party in a club/lounge next to party/ elevators in hotel. The music was very loud at checkin and the people there were very young...no big deal, the hotel seemed nice and it was in the middle of manhattan! They upgraded our room but the room was... More

Positives: 'NY Scene'- good bar, cool design, funky rooms. Used to frequent the bar when I lived the city...figured it would be worth checking out the rooms now that I'm visiting for business. Excellent location for visiting/getting around the city. Negatives: The positives definitely stop with the bar. Wait for check-in, snarky rep at the front desk, tiny rooms (not... More

I did not stay at the hotel, but worked in the Hudson Common and Library a few evenings. It was a great place for a digital nomad to plop down and work. In the morning I headed to Hudson Common for breakfast and work. It was the exact setting I wanted - free wifi, couches, tables, TVs, and a large... More

We stayed at the Hudson for 3 nights and we're usually very satisfied with Morgans hotels, but this stay was not very good and not worth how much money we spent for the room. First off, everything takes forever. Checking in took about 20 minutes of waiting in line, whenever we needed anything from the front desk or house keeping... More

First off, the check-in took an unnecessarily long time. There were three people at the front desk, and they must have had a language barrier problem, because it took us 30 minutes to get up to the front of the line.( And all through the weekend, when I would exit the elevator to leave the hotel, the line was always... My husband and I spent 3 nights at this hotel for a few days of shopping, eating and walking the streets of Manhattan at Christmas. We normally stay in Midtown on Lexington Ave but opted for this hotel via Priceline. Folks- the location can't be beat. The subway is directly across the street with access to most lines. Plenty of... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
