When I last stayed at the Hudson (some eight years ago), I was charmed by the concept. Yes, the room was very small and the there was too much attitude at the front desk, but it was chic and well-managed and the price was right. It took 20 minutes for me to check in on a Friday night as the... More

Beautiful decor, smiley and friendly staff, lovely court yard, and the theme was mini golf when we were there which was super neat. The rooms were quite small but very nice, and honestly we didn't spend much time in them anyway so it didn't really matter. The girl at the front desk told us that lots of people complain about... Always a great stay. I haven't been in a few years and the space is always looking fresh and modern and still a hub for people wanting a great night on the town. The rooms are small but still work. The lobby gets rather busy during the evenings which makes for a noisy experience.

Accommodations were clean, wait staff friendly, ambience nice...though the lobby waiting areas have very uncomfortable seating. Rooms are tiny, but that is par for the course if staying in the heart of Manhattan. Main reason for only 3 stars was due to an issue with the billing department. We were charged for two rooms instead of one, with the problem... More

The room was very clean, when I requested no feathers my room was quickly corrected for me. The staff were courteous and helpful. I do wish they would tell you there is a fridge in the room--put it o nyour web site--we didn't find it till the second day. My room was a deluxe double with plenty of room.

Beautiful hotel... Friendly and helpful staff. Yes, the bathrooms are small, but it's New York. I found the room to be modern and comfortable. The front desk staff answered any and all questions with out hesitation and seemed genuinely happy to be of service. Great location, within walking distance of just about everything. Over all, amazing experience!

I stayed in this hotel twice already. It has a really great atmosphere, with the little garden, bar and nightclub. It's an excellent location just next to Central Park and the Broadway is just a couple of minutes walk. The rooms are small but really nicely designed and also clean. Surprisingly quiet despite of the music downstairs during clubbing time.... More

I've never been on a cruise but the Hudson hotel gave me a sneak peek of what it must be like. The rooms are tiny. Our luggage barely fitted between the door which is half the width of standard doors. Bathroom visits should be planned in advance or you risk getting stuck between the bathtub and the toilet. The lobby... More

The Room is very good, the only issue is the internet signal. I lost it many times. And about the hotel, it is really good as well, furniture, location, ambience, bar, but again the only issue is the gym. You should have some equipments for Functional and Crossfit. It is cheap. About the payment, the price was ok, but my... More

Had to change rooms twice, due to the first being too small, the second having a light and a/c until that could not be fixed. The restaurant has terrible food, and service. The bar staff however, were good. The common areas are great rooms, but overall, I don't know how it gets a 4 star rating. Unless you get a... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
