I spent a delightful three nights here with my two-year-old son, and had a wonderful time. We had a Harbor View room, and although I couldn't make heads or tails of the telescope, it really wasn't necessary. We delighted in our wonderful views of the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, the water taxies and ferries, and so on. Our bathroom... More

My wife and I stayed at the Ritz Carlton as a second honey moon. My wife had never been to New York before and this was about as special as it could be. We stayed at club level and having initially been given a city view, upgraded to Harbour. Not that it's their fault, but City view is basically construction... More

Stayed at the hotel for a weekend in a room on the club level overlooking the harbour (No. 1115). The room was very bright and nicely decorated. Very comfortable bed, the large marble bathroom had Bvlgari amenities. Service on the club level was excellent, all the staff greeted me by name. Food presentations where great, good selection of food and... More

I was guaranteed one price for a room and they ended up booking me for an entire other room type and when trying to get it switched to the correct room, would not honor their price I was quoted only 4 hours before. I cancelled my reservation for the rest of the week and stayed only the one night (too... More

Just returned from a lovely weekend at the Ritz Carlton Battery Park ... had previously booked this trip for February and had to cancel at the last minute due to a sudden hospitalization in the family. They could not have been nicer about the cancellation, so we rebooked our whole trip. The beautiful hotel was made all the better by... More

This is our second stay at the Ritz Carlton, Battery Park and we are sure there will be a third, fourth, fifth...etc! We have stayed at other Ritz Carlton's and always stay on the club level. The value you receive for the extra charge per person is extraordinary. Small meal and beverage services greet you for each portion of the... More

I stayed at the Ritz-Carlton with my 2 teenage children, we were on club level and could not fault anything about the hotel. It was our first time in NYC and everything was great - all that we expected and more, the staff were really helpful, and the hotel was lovely. We can't wait to go back again.

I've stayed at very nice hotels before, but this was my first time staying at a Ritz-Carlton. Overall, I'd have to say I was somewhat disappointed with the experience as it fell beneath my expectations. First, the positive - the bathroom was VERY nicely appointed and spacious with a bath, shower stall, toilet alcove and large vanity area. Outside of... More

Travelled on business. Pre-booked a non-smoking room. Put me in a "non-smoking" room on a smoking floor. Could smell the tobacco instantly. Were very apologetic and moved me to a proper non-smoking room. Room I got was large enough to spread out. Excellent bathroom with tub and separate shower cubicle. Ample work space. Internet access at a cost. Large TV... More

I live in NY but will stay at NYC hotels when celebrating certain occasions with my wife. We celebrated Valentine's Day and spent a night at this hotel. I selected one of the packages they were offering for that weekend. I almost selected the helicopter ride package but felt the couples massage would be a better value. I'm glad I... More
