I don't believe that this hotel is up to the standards of other RItz-Carlton properties. Everything seemed very worn down for a 5 star property. The prices in the spa were outrageous. I got a manicure and paid $70 plus; it was good, not great. My room had a view of the Statue of LIberty but was nothing special; could... more

We stayed at the Ritz-Carlton Battery Park for six nights during the week before Easter. We had a suite because we brought our nine year old granddaughter for her first trip to New York (she lives in Austin, Texas). We paid quite a bit for the room, not out of line for a five star hotel in New York, but... more

we stayed 3 nights at the battery park ritz - club floor - harbor view room (had booked a city view but was upgraded - the hotel was not terribly busy). We had requested a room near the club lounge and that was also accomodated. We love Ritz club floors and this was no different - as it is a... more

We stayed here over Easter weekend and we were blown away by the standard of service at The Ritz. This is our 3rd stay in New York and by far the best hotel we have stayed in. From the moment we arrived the staff could not have done more, they were friendly, helpful, charming and very knowledgeable about the City.... more

A group of friends and I who travel to New York annually to reunite, relax, and see a show or two decided to forego our usual digs in MIdtown/Time Square and camp out at the Ritz Carlton Battery Park. We booked club level rooms (only one of our rooms got upgraded to bay view after the first night) through American... more

My husband and I travel a fair amount and enjoy staying in a nice hotel. Our personal opinion was that the Ritz Battery Park was fair. The rooms were small but very clean. However, the shower was horrible -- like you were being hosed down from a fire hydrant. There wasn't any way of adjusting the pressure and no way... more

We wanted to stay away from mid town but at the same time experience Manhattan. So, my husband and I booked Ritz in Battery PArk. My husband uses a wheelchair so it is important the the hotel room is reasonably spacious and accessible. For the price that we are paying, we are actually getting much more square foot. Many hotels... more

My family and I stayed at the Ritz for 2 nights on a weekend. The hotel is in a beautiful location, Battery Park. On the weekend it was nice and quiet and relaxing, we are used to staying uptown. The doormen were very helpful and checkin was easy. We had a weekend plan so we were able to get breakfast... more

We just got back from a 3 night stay at the Ritz Battery Park. We have previously stayed at the Four Seasons and Ritz Central Park. The hotel was fine, the staff were very friendly and the room was large and clean, my big thing is bathrooms and this was better than most. We were travelling with our two kids... more
