Rooms are being remodeled on 5th-6th floors. Spacious twin rooms at this neighborhood hotel. We love room 514. Good space with closet, drawers, and shower. Value is good too for what you pay on the UWS. Al and Tracy are great at the front desk. Good restaurants in the hood : Milling Room- great fish and steaks-BYOB on Tues night,... More

My wife and I stayed here when we wanted to spend a weekend on the upper west side. We had a double room, and it was extremely tiny. There was a bed, and about a foot of floor space around it. Everything was clean, and the bathroom was new so we were happy. The prices were pretty cheap so if... More

Stayed in October for a week. Room is basic but nothing out of the ordinary for New York. Overall very happy with it and the location was great, right next to the subways and nice restaurants nearby too. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

I was very worried about booking this hotel but was really impressed. Was met by very friendly staff - who informed me that they were a goo hotel, clean and up to date although up front they said the rooms were on the smaller side. I do a lot of traveling and am in NYC every week and have been... More

This hotel is super tiny. And I'm a tiny person. However, the rooms are impeccably clean and the hotel feels secure. I spent just two days here and, any more than that, I'd probably get cabin fever but I enjoyed it overall.

Other reviewers shared that it was small...but I didn't appreciate quite how tiny it was! With two of us, it was a very tight squeeze and we had trouble opening our suitcases. It would be fine for a single person though, and other than the size, it was clean and comfortable and in a great location.

I stayed there for a week in Jan 2015. It was a REALLY small bedroom (the door hits the bed when you open it) but i think space is the best thing to sacrifice for a budget hotel in manhattan, so i won´t count it as a bad thing. The heater is very noisy it's better to turn it off... More

I really enjoyed my stay at the Belnord Hotel. The housekeeping and desk staff are friendly and accommodating. It is private and quiet and located in a lovely NYC neighborhood of brownstones near Central Park. The hotel is super clean. The rooms are small and the bathrooms are a tight squeeze between the sink and tub for the big and... More

I stayed at belnord more than 30 times.... It's a good value for the money when everything else in nyc is insanely overpriced. The room is small, seriously, the smallest room I ever stayed in. I really recommend belnord because the location. I would stay there again, again, again.....

The room was small but we were out all day so only slept there. The staff were very friendly and the room was spotlessly clean. Great location, quiet and there were a couple of bars round the corner. 30 min walk to Times Square. Very near to Central park. The only real negative was the very LOUD heating system that... More
