The location was pretty good (very close to the Subway), Central Park etc. The hotel itself was ok. Nothing fancy but people were nice. The room was extremely small, though. Basically the hotel was a bed to sleep in. I'm not sure if we were just unlucky. But the heating was extremely noisy. We woke up every time it started... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 5 days and 4 nights. It was definitely the cleanest hotel I've ever been in. Lovely staff, 24 hour service and they were very helpful. The street we stayed on was quiet and safe, there were times when we walked back to our hotel after midnight and felt safe. The hotel has parking... More

From the looks of it, the Belnord looks like a hotel. The lobby was furnished and there were a couple of receptionists that weren't even surprised to see us, while their eyes were glued to their online browsing/reading when we arrived. I knew from previous posts to ask for a higher floor, since these rooms were recently renovated. We arrived... More

The location was amazing! Takes literally 1 min (if not less) to walk to the metro station. I was also happy about free wifi since a lot of NYC hotels don't offer it. The room was clean and looked nice. It was rather small but I didn't need more space. No problems whatsoever.

the room was really small, the smallest I've ever been, the location was ok, it was 1 block away from the subway, but it didn't worth the price. The employee at the front desk was rude and arrogant, I didn't have a bad time because I was always out, but I don't really recommend this place

The room is pretty small, but between us - who comes to NYC to spend time at the hotel? It's pretty close to central park and the metro station, which makes its location excellent. There are no meals included, but I wanted to try some of New York's foods anyway. The room was clean and tidy, the staff are very... More

Went with a friend. Had a very small room with 2 twin beds and a tiny bathroom. Very clean lobby and rooms. Price was right $125. Located on a quiet street one block from Broadway and 3 blocks from Central Park. 2 women walked home at midnight and felt safe. Will definitely try again.

Got an excellent rate and was afraid it would be too good to be true, but I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is in a great location - quiet, safe neighborhood and only a few blocks from Zabar's. The front desk clerk was pleasant and assured me that the desk was staffed 24 hours a day. The room was the... More

The location of the hotel is fantastic. The Subway (86 Street on the 1 line) is around the corner with direct access to downtown Manhattan. There is a good choice of very reasonable places to eat within a few minutes walk...City Diner, Big Daddy's, French Roast, Edgars Cafe, Cafe 82 and many more. The hotel is small and easily accessible.... More

This is a basic, budget hotel in the upper west side. The neighborhood is nice/safe/clean. The lobby is quaint, efficient, and clean. The double bed guestroom we had was #201. It was spotless, had a closet, safe, desk, and full bath. The room is small 10 X10ish. The bathroom is small 3 X 4ish. Hence it is a very small... More
