Quiet room and great neighborhood, near transportation and restaurants. If you are over 5'5" tall you may find it a challenge to maneuver in the tiny space and tinier bathroom. Lots of international travelers. This is not a hotel you hang out in. But who spends time in their room when Manhattan is out the front door?

Not much to say about the Belnord except that one needs to remember that one gets what one pays for. Room 205 was tiny with little space to go around the bed. The bathroom only fits one person at a time and the sink is doll size. Blocked window with view on a wall. The worst part were the vibrations... More

Excellent location, clean, but no breakfast. The room I stayed in was really tiny, but it is okay if you just need a place to sleep and shower. I stayed in a ground-floor room, but there is an elevator to the upper floors. Safe in the room. Also offers luggage storage. I have nothing to complain about.

The location and the price of this hotel go well together. It's a short metro ride from the centre of New York. The staff on the front desk were very helpful. The hotel is very cramped with thin corridors and tiny rooms. But what do you expect for the price and how close it is to the centre? The room... More

I booked the cheapest room at the Belnord hotel - a full size bed in a room. Other than the room NOT having a desk and chair, this was the BEST deal I've ever had in NYC. I had a 5 night business trip and trying to keep costs down. The location is superb and the air conditioner was ice... More

As somebody mention this before, this hotel is very well located and it is very clean, however the space even for New York is very small. The main issue here is the staff. They were very rude at most times and didn't care for helping our assisting customers. I would say it has potential, however, it has to change their... More

I wasn't sure what to expect from a "budget hotel", and for the most part, the Belnord was a great experience. Three of us booked rooms while we were in NYC for a conference at Columbia. I was in a newly renovated room, which was very clean and a decent sized space. There was enough space for a double bed,... More

First and foremost, the hotel was extremely clean. The rooms were small, which is to be expected in Manhattan, but had everything that was needed, and were cleaned daily while we were out. The bedding and towels were all very clean and comfortable. As an added bonus...the subway was only 1 block away!! There were plenty of choices of food... More

Your enjoyment of this place is going to greatly depend on your expectations. This is the smallest hotel room I have ever seen. I don't think I can accurately put into words just how small it truly is. We had the two twin bed room (and I honestly don't think the beds themselves were even truly twin sized) and there... More
