The muse is a very comfortable, fun hotel right in times square. It is central to the museums, the park and the plays and is always a fun walk home at night. The staff is very attentive and the free wine hour and restaurant are both a highlight. I was also impressed with the sound proofing. We were on the... More

We totally enjoyed our stay at the Muse Hotel. Great location for the theatre. The staff couldn't have been nicer. The restaurant was so convenient and accommodating. Food was great also! Great wine bar!

We stayed at the Muse last weekend. What a find! Fantastic location, beautiful decor, and wonderful staff and rooms. We were just two blocks from the theater, and close to many restaurants. I have stayed at many hotels in NYC, but this is now my preferred spot.

I stayed with my friend for the weekend, the location is superb, the rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. The staff at the Muse are down to earth and professional , nothing was too much trouble, we asked for a coffe machine and one was in the room by the time we returned went back to the room after the... Stayed here for 5 nights in a room with 2 double beds (me, husband, daughter). My mom had a room with a king bed for herself as well. Location, location, location. We could walk to anything in Times Square, so convenient for the Broadway shows we saw and some of the restaurants too. Two easy stops for the subway in... More

Dear cutigress2013, Thank you so much for the stellar, 5 star review!! It is very much appreciated, and I was over the top happy to read about how friendly you thought the staff was and how everything was top notch! Great small botique hotel. Went for a birthday celebration. When the concierge heard that , Maximilian, he sent up champagne and chocolates Maximilian was great... Made suggestions for nearby restaurants that were excellent. The only negative about the hotel was the housekeeping staff. They left dirty glasses and coffee cups in the room. But, as soon as I called down... More

Very bad surprise arriving in this hotel... We booked a room for 2 adults and 2 kids. 2 beds of 140cm each only in the room !!! The cleaning women only do the room at the end of the day (near 4pm) what is really annoying when you come back after a full day of walk in the city. They... More

Dear Cats E, I am very sorry to hear about your dissatisfaction with your recent stay. This is by no means the level of service we provide here at the Muse, I am quite shocked to be honest. If you have sometime, I would love to discuss details further. Please reach out to tripadvior@themusehotel.com so we can chat offline. thank... More

We have stayed at several Kimpton properties and they are always a pleasure. The Muse was no exception. The hotel is located on W46th street just off Times Square to the west and 6th ave to the east yet somehow retains a sense of peace and quiet. Its only a several minute walk to numerous famous places. The staff were... More

The only thing keeping me from giving this a five star review are two things. As per the norm in my reviews, I want to foucs on the positives first. We were there for the weekend as a family with my five and seven year olds in tow. Here we go with the great: 1) The staff went above and... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
