The Hyatt 4 Lex is a relatively small, boutique style hotel. However, they are owned by Hyatt, so if you're in their club you can get points. The neighborhood is very near Grand Central station and many other hotels. So,, there are a lot of tourists in the area. Positives: 1. Price was cheapest at their website than on 3rd... More

I only stayed one night but was impressed with the modern and well appointed accommodations. The lobby is small but interestingly chic. The hotel has the feel of a mini Four Seasons at a much more affordable price. The rooms are spotless and sophisticated. The mini bar was well stocked with at least six bottles Grey Goose Vodka and MacCallan 12... More

The Hyatt Lex 48 is a fantastic boutique hotel in the center of Manhattan. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. Even though they sit right on top of 48th Street and Lexington Ave, the rooms are very quiet. Must be sound proofing. I have stayed in hotel rooms on the 45th floor and higher and have had street noise.... More

Positive: The front desk team here is excellent. They are attentive and try to help with anything that arises. Courteous, professional, an thoughtful. It's hard to ask for more. Cody was my host and I hope that he gets promoted some day soon. Neutral: Housekeeping is very very noisy in the morning. Negative: The internet was simply impossible to work... More

We come into town regularly via Grand Central Station. Usually we stay at the Grand Hyatt which has a great location for us and is very nice. We decided to try something different this time, a boutique hotel, and we were not dissapointed. Only a short walk from Grand Central this hotel provided all of the class and amenities of... More

My spouse and I stayed at the property for one night earlier this month. Typically we would stay at the Loews Regency, or the just opening Park Hyatt. This hotel is new, with a small number of rooms and very modern appointments. It is very conveniently located, with easy walks to mid-town restaurants, museums, and shopping. Our typical king room... Stayed here for 2 nights in August. Very nice, modern style hotel. Staff was incredible helpful.. impeccable service. Room was spacious and had a decent view(as good as can be for this area). Only annoyance was that the bathroom door wouldn't close all the way, but this is just nitpicking. Fantastic location.... enough away from the insanity of times square... More

I stay in NY every week and choose this boutique hotel over any other in the city. I am treated like family. You will not find any better service, from the manager, front desk, concierge, lounge attendants to housekeeping. They treat you like you are the only guest in the hotel. The accommodations are spotless, roomy and rather luxurious. Location... More
