We stayed at ONE UN New York again this year. I must say that I was even more wonderfu Our room was clean and had Spectaular views of both Empire State buliding and chrysler buliding on the right and straight in front of us was the Freedom Tower. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. Woudl Highly recommend.

Expected more for what we paid. Didn't feel our room matched description and when I queried it was met with derision. Have to say that the staff involved displayed a couldn't care attitude something which I did not experience throughout the three days I was in NY. Swimming Pool was advertised but it is no more. Food outrageously expensive. If... More

This was my second visit to One UN, after about 18 months. The positive permanent things have stayed the same -- large rooms for NYC, great views -- but the service-related aspects have slipped in my judgment, bringing the hotel down from "Good" to "Average." Not-great front desk service, undrinkable room-service coffee (thought the cafe has expressos), a sense that... More

great hotel - incredible views of the city, huge room, very spacious and perfect as a base to explore. Definitely will return in the future! Can't comment on the breakfast as stayed on a room basis but the amenities in the room were good.

Me and my fiance had a fantastisc engagement celebration week at this hotel. Night manager, Courtney Broad, gave us some very nice service and we could not be more satisfied. We got room in west tower, which was very clean and renovated. We had a magnificent view from our room towards the Chrysler building. Room was quite big and the... More

One day in NYC and a extremely nice hotel is a great thing. The location was a bit off, cause it's not on 1st Ave as it says, just around the corner. The rooms in the new section were great and updated, perfect, couldn't have asked for a nicer room, unless a penthouse. Staff was nice also very helpful. The... More

Nice and spacious room, (well I was in a suite) but the food is very poor and breakfast a la carte with is rare for me too see. Nice view of Manathan thought. And very close to UN headquarters. I will recommend

the location is really only useful if you've got business in the immediate area, though if you like to walk, as i do, it's not impossibly far to, say, the southwest corner of central park and thus much of midtown. there are two towers. one has recently been renovated and is much more expensive. i haven't been in that one... We stayed at the ONE UN in middle of May for a few nights. Spectacular view from the top floor, 38th. The staf were very friendly and helpful and we will certanly be back again. There are some descent restaurants and bars nearby if you don't want to travel too far.

We visited this hotel as a stopover to Europe. As such, my review is limited to using their hotel for a one night stay. Below are the Pros and Cons: Pros: 1. Location: The location is pretty good. It's about a 10 minute walk from Grand Central Station. 2. Very professional staff: staff were very professional, greeting us each time,... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
