Memories. In the 90's, we used to play tennis at the rooftop club then go around the corner to reward our exercise with a feast at Palm Too. We often would recommend the hotel to friends and relatives visiting as it was always reasonable and comfortable with a hint of class. While searching for a room at the last minute,... More

While further east than I usually stay, this is a beautiful location and not far for the #6 line. Staff are most professional and given its location across from the United Nations overlooking the East River, the hotel is in a very safe neighborhood 24/7 including many consulates. Also, the quietest night's sleep I can remember in NYC, with an... More

The nicest thing about this hotel is, because of its location, it has a killer view of the city and the river. The room that I was in had a gorgeous panoramic view of the city. The room itself, however, was very dated and sparse. There was a loveseat in the room that was all faded and torn in some... More

The reception and lobby are dated, the beds were comfy but the bathroom was so damp and dirty that I wore my flip flops while in there. The bathroom walls were damp and had rust and mould stains, the carpet smelt damp and this ruined a hotel with nice and helpful staff. I got the impression this would be more... More

Myself, my partner and another couple stayed here over New Year and it was perfect. Hotel is in a nice area, not too far from the main attractions once you find your bearings. We had gorgeous views and the rooms were spotless. Perfect hotel to stay in if you are planning a trip to NYC to explore. The pool on... More

We have stayed athe this hotel twice now. The last time we were in New York, we opted for a cheaper version (The Eastgate Towers, only a couple of blocks away). Never again. It was shabby, with no decent views & very noisey. So it will be back to the Millennium UN Plaza next time. Views over Roosevelt Island were... More

I appreciate your loyalty to The Millennium UN Plaza Hotel. I would like to thank you so much for staying with us, for the good review, and for highlighting two very important facts about our hotel; our cleanliness and our views, they are truly amazing! We are looking forward for welcome you back soon. More

For $250 a night you would at least expect clean rooms! Dirty bathroom, dirty tissues lying around in the room, hair in the tub and randomly, a hairband on the bed! Staff was miserable and very unhelpful. Completely terrible stay and will definitley not be back.

My family decided to go overnight in Manhattan. This hotel had the best deal going in Manhattan. The location was great and we all felt safe. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The view was awesome. The room itself was small especially the double beds the four of us had to share. It also was a bit dirty. We... More

I am so delighted you chose to stay with us and that you found our team to be very friendly and helpful. I am equally disappointed to learn that you found your room no as clean as they usually are. I would love for some additional insight if possible so we can make some corrections and train accordingly. Best Regards More

I stayed at the hotel for four nights in April, 2012. The lobby remains with its 1970's designs and even the rooms have no furnishings, they still look tired. The wood work, bath fixtures, closets, etc. are beyond needing a paint job and a total gut/replace is required to bring this hotel up to standards set by places like the... More

I stayed at the hotel a couple of weeks ago and it was great. I have no idea why it doesn't seem to hold a 4 star rating, because my experience certainly earned that. The King size beds are amazing, the flatscreen TVs are huge, the bathrooms are clean and spacious, the safe is free and can snugly hold a... More
