My husband and I were in town last week for 4 nights. We had an amazing time in the city. Here are the pros and cons of the hotel in our experience: Pros: 1. EXCELLENT location in the middle of TriBeCa, walkable to excellent shopping, subways, restaurants, etc. I'd stay in Soho again on my next visit. 2. Great service.... More

To set the scene-I arrived at 2:30pm near the end of Fashion Week. The room wasn't ready, yet but the front desk worked on my high-floor request to stay away from the noise of the ground floor parties. I was in my room at 3pm. The room was nice except for the awful smell of cigarette smoke from a previous... More

Nice room and had the balcony connecting all the rooms on each floor on the inside facing down to the restaurant and lounge on the ground and was covered by a see through roof on the top floor. Very cool. Staff all very helpful and friendly. We arrived about 9pm and had room service. Forgot we were in New York... More

I stayed at the hotel for one night and I can say that decor is in good and modern design. and the all facilities in room is in good condition. Free tea and coffee machine are on the each floor . Also the location is absolutely perfect: close to many cafes and near High Line, Chinatown, and other attractions, but... More

Even if you are exploring uptown, it is always a pleasure to come home to Tribeca Grand and be spoiled by their staff and accommodations. I would not recommend any other hotel in NYC, except perhaps the Soho Grand. Everything from the food to the service and the friendly, hip staff make your experience everything you want from NYC.

I have stayed many times at the Tribeca Grand, and am still amazed at the vibe this hotel has, this is not a hotel for travellers that like chains, this is a boutique hotel with its own personality. The open atrium soars up 8 floors to exposed beams creating an open and light feel. The front desk staff are very... More

I stayed at the Tribeca Grand for two weeks during the Tribeca Film Festival in April. I had a Grand King room with floor to ceiling windows. This was my introduction to Tribeca and I definitely made the right choice. The hotel is very hip, but also extremely service oriented which I find a rare combination in New York. The... More

I've just returned after a long weekend break with my wife and kids for my wifes 40th Birthday and we stayed in the fantastic Tribeca Grand. The hotel was aesthetically pleasing but the gem of the place is the staff. They are the friendliest bunch of people you are ever likely to meet in a hotel. I can't praise this... More

This was back in 2002, I cannot forget this experience though! My boyfriend and i were attending a sub-cultural music festival that brought a few hundred people to The Knitting Factory from all parts of the world. There were a lot of attendees staying in hostels and squatting, and crashing at peoples houses in new jersey... or just not sleeping... More
