Hotel staff were amazing.. Rudy at check in, valet, bar and concierge staff warm and welcoming. Lobby of hotel has a fun bar with a talented jazz quartet on Saturday nights! When we returned later in the evening, surprised at how loud music was in the lobby.. I was wishing in the morning to have a coffee pot in the... More

We stayed here for 2 nights in October 2014. For the price I would say this hotel is an excellent option, very funky decor, beautiful lobby/bar area, comfortable rooms and a brilliant down town location. On the whole the staff were also incredibly friendly and helpful though we were made to feel a bit bad at breakfast for having our... More

I just got back from staying at Tribeca Grand for 2 nights, where they were able to accommodate me after my apartment flooded (not fun). I've been attending this hotel for years for work drinks and lunches and always been happy, so decided to give it a shot when confronted with having to stay in a hotel in the city... More

I had a great stay at the Tribeca Grand. It was right next door to the building where I was having meetings. And after work, the location was perfect for meeting friends and having a broad range of dinner restaurant options. And was fairly easy to get back to the airport when the business meetings were complete. The hotel was... More

Second visit this year and I'll probably come back. Good value for your money, rooms are spacious and very clean. I did have problems with the shower each morning, not enough hot water coming through which was very disappointing. The star attraction is the lounge and bar with excellent food and drinks. It's a great environment to relax on the... More

If I could post without a star I would. This is single-handedly the worst hotel experience I've ever had. Not only is the room shabby, small and horribly designed, and the elevator goes mysterious to the 3rd floor when you push the button for the 2nd, but also there is a bar under the 2nd floor of the hotel that... This is a motel style hotel (I.e. Look up and you can see all the rooms from the interior lobby). It's clean for that category and the location is great. But not as described so don't expect luxury. Think Hilton level except in Manahttan which is ok, just not what I expected.

The hotel was very nice and in a great location. Bellstaff was excellent as were all employees. Lots of fun and the Sunday brunch was delicious. I wish that when we arrived in the afternoon that the bar menu was available and not just the brunch. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Stayed with the family for 4 nights. Arrived valentines day and were greeted with glass of champagne at reception, made to feel at home straight away by the Doormen (Billy was great). Got to the room and they had left iced champagne for my birthday along with a little birthday cake. Sunday brunch was great as were the evening jazz... More

Staying in TriBeCa

Neighborhood Profile
TriBeCa
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighborhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighborhood home.
