This is a great boutique hotel in downtown New York. I usually stay in the sister hotel - SoHo Grand, but on this occasion decided to try something different. The building features an interesting triangle design with an atrium style bar and restaurant. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel is in a fantastic location. I did miss... More

Great location to get closer to tourists sites like One World Tower, and Battery Park. will need to taxi it to Time square.Great shopping area. Depending on the season I'd say pack for extreme cold or extreme heat.

Great hotel, friendly staff, great location. I liked the restaurant inside more than I usually like hotel restaurants! It was convenient that they offer valet service, which is very hard to find in NYC.

Room service missed my breakfast card for Monday morning, causing me to miss a train. Sunday morning breakfast in the Lounge was totally unimpressive. The lounge wait staff was uninterested, and for the prices, that was unacceptable.

Room: The room was clean and any issues were addressed quickly. However, it's set up could be better. For instance: - Lamps and fixtures were placed randomly and ultimately gave little lighting. - There were no electrical outlets near the beds/side table so our phones had to be placed inconveniently away from us to charge; in fact there was only... Nice location very good staff..Tribeca is a nice area but local shopping is within 15 min walk. Starbucks in next block saved the day because no coffee in the room,. the window shades were ok but if you want to sleep in then the light comes in thru the top...of the curtains

The hotel, location and service were all excellent. I would definitely stay there again. The front desk staff were especially helpful and unlike many NYC hotels our wifi was free. This was my eighth time in New York and this was by far the best hotel I've stayed in whilst in Manhattan.

We loved to stay in your hotel. Were greeted very friendly everytime we entered or left the hotel. Got good information when we needed it. My son was enthusiastic about the pool table. I appreciated the newspaperservice. A place to recommend.

No hot water two of the three mornings. Lethargic and slow breakfast service staff. No coffee in room or lobby, but you can get a cup of crap coffee for 5 bucks if you wait about 10 minutes at the bar. Right over the subway, so you hear every train going by when trying to sleep. This is a beautiful,... More

Staying in TriBeCa

Neighborhood Profile
TriBeCa
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighborhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighborhood home.
