Fun and lively setting (which unfortunately was undergoing some lobby renovations) with great live music. Food is delicious but expensive, though probably on par with NY prices. While there was a theater downstairs showing kids films, there was no "schedule of events" and hotel not super kid-friendly, despite my children and many others there. Would love to see a kids... Great hotel. We usually stay in Midtown but chose the lower pert of Manhattan. Hotel was an excellent choice. Very close to all we wanted to do and the accomodations were perfect. We would definately stay again.

A very good experience!! I would stay here on my next trip, I Would check for a larger room on my next trip. Very warm reception, concierge, check in and most important is during a Friday night meeting reception at the bar the live music was great and not invasive to my room.

Rooms are around a central atrium at lobby level. Where they have nightly jazz, and a fairly popular bar scene. It is very loud until pretty late at night, so unless you are staying out late each night i can't see why you'd stay here. The noise carries quite a bit. They have installed white noise machines in the room,... More

Great front desk and door man service. Staff gave great service in helping with luggage and holding door open 24/7. Also recommendations of restaurants and activities. I would highly recommend staying there for location to soho.

Just an overnight stay for early trip to Ellis Island. Very friendly staff, clean modern room, nice bathroom design. Center atrium is dramatic but allows music to drift up to the middle floors (stopped early enough so not a problem). very convenient to the subway and good restaurants blocks away. Nice stay.

Nice warm lobby that was a welcome home every time we walked through it. Rooms are average size but beds exceptionally comfortable. The tribeca neighborhood is our favorite part of New York and this hotel is the pride of the neighborhood.

I booked a room at this hotel for my boyfriend's birthday. The decor is very impressive. After going out for dinner we had drinks at the lounge and caught the end of the live jazz. The singer was good and the drinks were the perfect end to a fun night. My only complaints are that there was not complimentary water... More

Nice setting. Good food. Great end of day atmosphere. Staff are very responsive and attentive. Walking distance to good shops and great restaurants too. There was live music every night. If you're into watching TV you may have challenges getting them to work!

My husband and I stayed here recently for one night. We were greeted at the front desk by Alex, a very pleasant man, who offered us a glass of champagne! I don't recall that ever happening, even at the high end hotels we have stayed in. The decor in the lobby and atrium is charming and welcoming. The room was... More

Staying in TriBeCa

Neighborhood Profile
TriBeCa
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighborhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighborhood home.
