Our business meeting included 7 international staff. All well seasoned business people. The Grand was a great choice. Good location, edgy environment, great art and very positive "vibe". Food was fine but service in the lounge could be better. That said we would definitely return and recommend this place to friends.

Hotel is consistently fabulous. Staff is warm, friendly and helpful. Room is perfect size, location is great for walking to lots of great restaurants and shops. My daughter is at school nearby and I am happy to have a great place to stay while visiting.

really makes the trip. Very pleasant room and hotel. They treat you well, with attitude you deserve it rather than doing you a favor. We stay there frequently. Room is very comfortable - bed, bath, view, size.

Was really impressed by the TriBeCa Grand. Stylish interiors and fantastic service meant that this was one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. TriBeCa is a great area too, lots of fantastic independent shops, bars and restaurants and I would definitely recommend it.

I would recommend this hotel for the location. It is very close to some very trendy shops and restaurants and we did walk into the Central Park area of New York from here. It is a long walk but worth it. The hotel is very clean and welcoming and the food of a high standard. There was a film crew... More

I've long had the Tribeca Grand as my "go to" hotel while in the City. It's in a great location, which is an easy walk to breakfast, dinner, or shopping. It's quieter than most places, with a staff committed to first class service, but in an understated, not stuffy way. They reward loyalty, and take care of their guests. It... More

Exceptional stay and visit to the big apple! Location, location, location. Was travelling with a first time in New Yorker. The location offerred a central point of reference to all the great areas, Meat Packing, SoHo, Financial District, Chelsea and Times Square. And of course exceptional service. Thanks again TG.

Front door staff, desk staff were outstanding. First time stay, will definitely be coming back. Dinner was great. For us location is perfect. New York is very busy at this time of the year but staff had no problems getting us taxis.

Amazing staff, cozy bar/restaurant and sizable rooms. Carmen, the concierge, was extremely helpful in setting up four days' worth of reservations. Bill and Andrew were exceptionally friendly and made our stay more than enjoyable. The front desk and guest services staff were prompt and thorough in their responses. Overall, the staff at the hotel made our entire trip all the... More

Staying in TriBeCa

Neighborhood Profile
TriBeCa
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighborhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighborhood home.
