The Tribeca Grand is a unique hotel. The front desk staff was lovely. I was having a bit of a rough couple of days and they couldn't have been nicer. The common areas of the hotels are very cool too. The room was ok. You can tell that this is an older hotel that has been remodeled. While the decor... More

This hotel is over-priced, and needs to be refurbished. The furniture is old, the lighting is terrible in the rooms, the safe didn't work, the Apple PC didn't work. I would not stay here again, it's a poor

Stayed here for the first time (I normally stay at the sister SoHo Grand nearby). The week I was there, it was less busy and less populated with the ad industry types you see in the SoHo Grand. More touristy. Probably more comfortable than its sister and just as convenient. Nice.

Returned home after my yearly trip to NYC and the Tribeca Grand Hotel. It's a great hotel located in a fantastic neighborhood, near the subway, great restaurants, and shopping. You couldn't find a better location in the city. The staff at the hotel is "GRAND" and take an interest in their guests. I always sleep so well while at the... More

Recommended for women, especially single travellers. Close proximity to work was an advantage. Quiet and peaceful locality. High safety standards and courteous staff. Would appreciated if prices kept as advertised on web.

After staying at another hotel in the East Village, my stay at the Tribeca Grand was exceptional. Huge rooms with outstanding furnishings. Very comfortable bed and beautiful lobby and lounge. Highly recommended!

My first time experience at the Tribeca Grand Hotel was very pleasant. Very friendly and helpful staff. Ideal location to subway and restaurants. If I return again to New York, the Grand Hotel will be my choice.

This was a first visit for us. They have a first rate staff in a quiet location in the heart of classy Tribeca. No problems. Enjoyed playing pool with my son. I would not hesitate to revisit and recommend.

This hotel is in a great location but is seriously in need of refurbishment Staff were great & go above & beyond to assist you in enjoying your stay We looked at 4 different style of rooms & I am afraid although expensive none were 'Grand' as described on website. Noisey air conditioning unit was 2 feet from pillow so... More

Hotel is in a perfect location for great shopping and restaurants. Rooms are clean, free wifi, quiet. I would stay again on next trip to NYC. Staff were exceptional. Needed umbrellas for a few walking trips and they were very accommodating. Drinks on the patio was great people watching.

Staying in TriBeCa

Neighborhood Profile
TriBeCa
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighborhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighborhood home.
