The hotel is situated just off of 5th Avenue and was within easy walking distant of the Theater District and Times Square. Our room overlooked 44th Street with a lovely view of the Chrysler Building. Our Suite was most comfortable. Bedding excellent Bathroom had a separate Bath and Shower. The Staff is first rate. The Restaurant,(Gaby), had an excellent French... More

This hotel seems to be well located and good quality accommodation for a reasonable price. We have just finished our second stay this year and were happy once again. It has a feel of intimacy that many other chain hotels don't and is a bit of a sanctuary away from the. Hustle and bustle. We got an upgrade to a... More

Great location. Love the bed, though it could have been a king size. I was kindly offered a crib and I declined as we co sleep with our baby, but I didn't even have to ask for one. They kept asking if I wanted one Their breakfast is not included but you do get coffee and tea in the morning... More

Enjoyed it very much. Great location, nice room, great toiletries, nice linens. Would have loved a coffee maker in the room, but all the other amenities were great. It is a very elegant hotel with European feel. Totally recommend for anyone interested in NYC hotel.

Great value , and excellent staff. We had a room at the back 1423. I asked to upgrade and we decided to go back to our original room. Breakfast was not included, but many places within walking distance. This place is very central and you are within walking distance of most attractions and shows.

Hotels of this standard which are convenient to New York's theatre district,5th Ave and central park are all fairly pricey.I bid through Priceline for a four or five star hotel in the Theatre District.I got a deluxe room for four nights at just over £600.Expensive, but worth it for standard of accommodation. We found it too expensive to eat in the... Such a wonderful location - right in the heart of NYC. This hotel is a like a sanctuary in the middle of such a huge city. We loved our suite with a view of the Chrysler Building. So close to Times Square so wonderful if you like the theatre.

Great location, superb staff, well equipped... Small downfall, no coffee facilities in the room, everything else is there, like big bathroom with both shower and tub. Tip: ask higher floor room, as anywhere else downtown Manhattan, due to noise

This hotel is beautiful and adds a true luxury feel to your stay. Perfect location, right near 5th Ave and close walking distance to Times Square. The staff was polite and helpful. The gym is great! No coffee in the room but there's complimentary coffee near the lobby every morning.

My first stay here, having stayed at other hotels in NYC over the last few years. I really like the location of the hotel and the front desk service was very helpful including accommodating my request for a later check out. My room was very quiet and clean which was ideal as I had flown in long haul from Asia.... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
