This is a nice, well located (if expensive) hotel, let down by poor service: lengthy waits for a table at breakfast, with at least a dozen tables uncleared and staff who grunt and walk away when asked about anything.

Our group of six ladies had booked rooms through a discounter and inadvertently wound up with just one queen bed in each of our three rooms. Upon check-in, we politely explained our situation to Marvin and asked if there was any way we might be upgraded to either rooms with two queen beds or one king. Marvin couldn't have been... More

We had a very comfortable, king size room on the 26th floor. Room size was good for NY and it appears they have recently been refreshed. Given the Times Square location street noise was minimal. Hotel staff were pretty good, albeit they often seemed a little harried by the volume of traffic via the front desk. The one issue letting... More

My wife and I stayed at the Hilton for the first time in May. The hotel staff was very courteous and efficient, the room was very comfortable and clean, and security was excellent. The location is a huge plus for us as we prefer to drive to New York and the access to the Lincoln Tunnel is literally a few... More

I stayed at the Hilton Times Square 3/28/13 through 3/30/13. Even as a Hilton HHonors Diamond member, being used to a superior level of service, I was blown away at how great this hotel is. Prior to arrival I received a welcome e-mail from Chad, the Front Office Manager, thanking me for choosing the Hilton at Times Square and inquiring... More

This is at least my 10th stay at this new york hotel. It continues to be my favorite. The rooms are totally renovated and although you are in the city, it is very quiet on the sleeping floors. The shining employee here continues to be Gazi, who works in food service and waits on tables in the morning. I stay... More

This hotel is in the heart of Times Square and close to everything. Rooms are clean but basic. The shining light was Rodney the doorman. He arranged a town car for us on a few occasions and made a great night even better without having to worry about getting a cab on a rainy NYC night.

From the start to the finish of my stay, Hilton did not let me down. Very considerate front desk staff who took care of a fax and provided my needed water after a 4+ hour delay. Quiet, well appointed room.

The room was beautiful and right up to Hilton property standards. The staff was professional and friendly. My experience at the breakfast each morning was made very special by the waiter named Francisco. I dropped my napkin and he was there with another one before I even realized it was dropped! He was the best. Cheryl at the podium by... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
