First of all the rooms are large for NYC, there was plenty of room to move around and not feel cramped. The room came with a mini-fridge which was nice. Location - Fantastic!!! Right on 42nd St. you walk one block to Time Square. There are countless restaurants and stores within a block or two. There are 4 subway lines... More

The hotel is on levels 25-45 high above 42nd street- fortunately the hotel is better than its entrance at street level. Rooms are standard modern fare, but the wifi signal on the 43rd floor was very weak and intermittent. Service was OK, but the famed US service culture was definitely missing. Why can't my company find recommended (and we can... More

A friend and I stayed here in June 2015 for a girls trip. The location was great. Close to everything but you are in the heart of times square so it was a very crowded area. We were upgraded on arrival to the 42 nd floor which was fabulous. The view was amazing! The room was large for new York... More

We go to NYC often and always stay at the Times Square Hilton. Very Competitive rates for the Times Square area and a very courteous staff. Normally we fly to NYC. This was our first time driving and we thought it would be a hassle at the hotel. It was not. The 41st street entrance provides a "quiet" place to... More

My family of four and I really did enjoy our stay. Everything was very clean and went exactly as plan. We got into our room, even though we arrived early. The staff were most helpful to anyone who needed help about tourist attractions around the city or how to even get around the city. Over all it was brilliant.

This hotel is in a great location if you want the bright lights of Times Square right outside the door, but a quiet, modern room to sleep in. Pretty much everything feels relatively new and updated, from the bathroom fixtures to multitude of convenient outlets to charge your wireless devices. The only minor negative about the bathroom is the sliding... More

The Hilton Times Square is in the perfect location to visit Times Square and the rest of Manhattan. The rooms are large enough for a family with plenty of space for luggage. The large flat screen and refrigerator are nice touches. Major subway lines and bus tours are located on the same block. I could see the New Year's Eve... More

Stayed for one night. Staff at luggage desk on ground floor outstanding. Good clean rooms. Great location for Broadway. Nice stay. Only issue was miserable barman on reception level who treated us like we were an inconvenience. Would stay again.

We chose the Hilton Times Square to be close to the theater district and central to mid-town and the key NYC attractions. We had a great room on the 40th floor with a phenomenal view of the Manhattan skyline, including the Empire State Building, the Freedom Tower, and lower Manhattan. The room was large, roomy and clean, the bed comfortable,... More

4th of July birthday gift for my wife. When I made inquiries from the Room Manager, Mr Rodriguez about which rooms offer the best views of the city, he asked the purpose of our visit. Upon learning that it was my wife's birthday and first trip to New York, he assured me that we would be pleased with his selection.... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
