Last year I booked the hotel for a group of 30 people and it was great, so I re-booked again this year. I can't stress enough the quality of the hotel and the great location. You are in the heart of NYC and all types of transportation. This hotel is a hidden gem. Lorenzo Mangum, the Event Services Manager was... More

Great, excellent and smooth service. Rooms looked very modern. Great location, near everything. They gave me a good room in the 36th floor, so there was not any noise bothering. Rooms are very comforting,

I only stayed here one night but enjoyed my stay. It is in a great location of course. The staff were very friendly. They provided me with my own microwave when I asked. The gym was very nice and very well equipped for a hotel gym. I was able to get a cab very easily the next morning with the... More

My family stayed at this hotel for our week-long trip to NYC. Everything was clean and the concierge and other staff were very helpful! The rooms were also very roomy! Very different from other hotels I've stayed in in Times Square which were tiny. It is in a prime location, and the hotel doesn't start until the 20th floor, so... More

This hotel is in just the right place. between 7th & 8th on W42nd st. Ideal to go anywhere in town. Check in was simple and the rooms were a great size. Bathroom was a good size with complimentary toiletries. Our room overlooked 42nd st and you could see all the way to the Hudson River. Would stay again.

Excellent location on 42nd street. Walkable from Penn Station. Subway is basically downstairs. Surprisingly quiet and somehow the window shades kept out the light. Highly recommended for a weekend theater trip.

Room was dirty! I had to prove to front desk with pictures, as when I called to inform them they sounded doubtful. Gave us a new room after viewing pictures of dirty sheets and food and water stains on night stand. Requested champagne and strawberries as a surprise.. They never came! When leaving it took a hour and half for... More

You are treated as a star and family. The best brights rooms, most welcoming staff and delicious dining at the Above Restaurant. This is the ideal place for the frequent business traveler as well as for the family holiday excursion. In the heart of midtown and steps away from great Broadway theatre and fabulous food.

Very busy hotel. As a diamond member I was not upgraded to a higher level, which is not pretty standard. Room prices were OK, not too high for this hotel. The hotel rooms were pretty standard, nothing really exciting. Many tourist are staying at the hotel. Bathrooms require modernization. Hotel did not offer late check-out. I have stayed in better... Raquel Ortiz went out of her way to accommodate my early arrival and put a rush on a clean room for me. This was perfect as I had meetings starting early and allowed me to take care of my bags. The Front Desk at Hilton Times Square is always so easy to work with. I've stayed at this hotel many... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
