I stayed in this hotel on work thrice, twice in 2013 and then in September 2014 for 14 nights. Its a great hotel, funky with blue neon lights and all . The rooms are gigantic for NYC standards ((was earlier a guest suite hotel in 2006). The views from the rooms are drab though, if you reach the bridge, the... More

We stayed here for 3 nights, and just loved the place from the minute we walked in the door. Staff were calm friendly and efficient, our room 617 was spotlessly clean and had a great view of the office block opposite and river if you looked down. We had lovely robes, and ate breakfast twice which was very good quality... More

It is a pleasure to hear your experience with us was a positive one from the moment you walked into the hotel and only continued as you experienced our spacious and comfortable guest suites and the service, food and location offered at our hotel.... Stayed here for a week with my family at the end of October / beginning November. The hotel was perfect for us. The room was great. Living area, lovely bathroom, separate shower room and large bedroom with two double beds. It was VERY clean and very comfortable. Every request was promptly catered for without question. The location was also perfect... More

Top notch hotel, you will absolutely love it, a little pricy but worth every penny. You can see the new freedom tower from your room depending on what room you get or walk only 1/2 block to it, there is no other place like new your city..

I stayed at The Conrad, New York beginning 20th September for 22 nights. To say the least "This was the best hotel I have stayed in". Every minute detail was taken care of and had a very comfortable and great stay. The roof tab bar is amazing with some good drinks. The staff is very courteous and friendly. If i... More

All suites is very nice. Love having separate living area. I stay here quite a bit when traveling on Business solo and with family. There is a great park for kids across street on the water. Seems like a business hotel but perfect for families as well.

We chose this hotel because we value a calm good night's sleep above all. Also the reason to be far away from the uptown circus. What a disappointment. You hear trucks very early in the morning despite the double glazed windows. And in the nighttime, you hear the roadshows that the hotel hosts. The subway is not right next door... More

If I wasn't paying the price I am paying for the hotel, my expectations would not be as high. I would like to see the value of the price be captured by the services and the actual ambience of the rooms.

My adult daughter and I stayed a full week. She needed to recuperate for several days after a medical procedure so privacy and quiet were paramount. The front desk was very considerate and worked with her upon arrival to select to a quieter room due to the great amount of construction happening outside around the building during the day. The... This is a big, beautiful hotel at the lower end of Manhattan. We paid for a basic suite with two double beds. My husband and I were visiting NYU with our daughter and didn't want to pay for separate rooms. This suite was perfect. The room was spotless with plenty of storage space. Spacious living room, toilet and sink completely... More

Staying in TriBeCa

Neighborhood Profile
TriBeCa
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighborhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighborhood home.
