We stayed at the Embassy Suites for just one night on a quick trip to see the Yankees play. We booked through JetBlue vacations and were very happy with the results. The hotel was located in an outstanding location when you have just two days in the city. I'd say 100 yards from the World Trade Center Site and it... more

My husband and I had 8 nights at this hotel and we did not want to leave. This was our first visit to NY, the location was great, I enjoyed coming back to more of a quiter location after being out in the hustle and buslte of NY. We were staying at the hotel when the pope was in town,... more

I stayed at the Embassy Suites a year ago September and had a great visit. When we were there the Condo building that now completely blocks the view was not there. We had an amazing view of the River. We had no problem with noise from the room next door and at that time there was construction out front but... more

We arrived at the embassy suites after a tortureous shuttle ride from JFK. It was a relief to see a clean and modern hotel. The reception staff were friendly and useful and explained everything we needed to know to us. We were given ample amounts of vouchers for breakfast and the managers drinks reception between 5.30 and 7.30. We requested... more

I stayed here for two nights for the Tribeca Film Festival, and the hotel is in a fantastic location. Walking distance to Tribeca, Soho, maybe not the Village, but it is right next to the World Financial Center. The interior is very modern as well as the rooms. The walls were quite thin however, and we could hear other people's... more

As others have indicated the staff is friendly and the rooms are updated / quite nice. However, this can't make up for the negatives we experienced. The walls are thin - we could hear conversations next door. That would have been tolerable if not for the LOUD construction at the crack of dawn (and NOT Ground Zero construction). Huge steel... more

We just stayed there for a quick weekend trip - way off the beaten path for going to the theatre (which we were) but we weren't able to book Doubletree as originally hoped. It is a nice enough hotel but the room seemed smaller than Doubletree. It was probably due to there not being a window in the living room... more

Such soft comfy beds and sofa I have rarely experienced! Lovely suites with bedroom, bathroom and lounge. Coffee maker and microwave for take-outs and "doggie-bags". Plenty of restauarnts and take-outs nearby. Two free drinks each evening in the bar, with large measures, and free nibbles to go along with them. Breakfast each morning is a good buffet affair with a... more
