I stayed here twice before because of the great location, it's walking distance to TriBeCa and the fantastic understated luxurious design and wonderful service. The location and design are still there however the service was invisible and I felt invisible during my 3 day stay. I got better service at shake shack downstairs than at the Conrad this time. I... I liked it. Nothing extraordinary, whether it is the design, the lobby, the facilities or even the entrance. Rooms are where you spend your time in NYC, to rest....! And the rooms are really great, spacious, modern, mini-suites with all the comfort including espresso machine (orginal, keep it up!). No much noise from the street and most important: excellent location in... More

Thank you very much for your kind feedback, we appreciate it. We do offer some of the largest suites in Manhattan, and often times, our guests even feel as if they are in their home away from home because of the spaciousness and luxurious amenities. How wonderful that you enjoyed our restaurant, it is a Mediterranean-inspired hotel with focus on... More

I've stayed at the Conrad many times and have enjoyed each visit. You can see my earlier review about this and nothing has really changed. However, I'm a Hilton Gold member and during the past few visits, I seem to have received the least desirable rooms in the house rather than an upgraded room. On my last visit, I selected... More

This is a great hotel, it is convenient to the rail station. I was here during a snow storm year, after 3 hour ride on the bus from the convention center to the hotel. I found myself not wanting to leave it was great the hotel had everything I needed. Between the hotel restaurants and the restaurants on the street... More

Located in the new epicenter of NYC, the World Trade Center and Battery Park City area, this wonderfully appointed property provides a very comfortable room package (best shower ever) combined with an outstanding location and a first rate staff. Please give it a try and you will definitely want to return. Lastly, the World Financial Center shopping area across the... More

Stayed at the Conrad on a Friday afternoon and evening for a medical conference. The room was a spacious suite, ultra modern, and immaculate. I was able to check in early at noontime in quiet room with no problem. The hotel catered breakfast, lunch and breaks for the conference. The food was outstanding with a nice selection. The room was... More

This hotel is astonishing. I also work for a hotel chain in the Front Office, so I am always a little skeptical when staying at hotels. I called ahead to ask for a nice view, early check-in, etc. and when I came to check-in (at 11am) they were ready for me. The room was large and extremely comfortable. They literally... More

We came here for my wife's 65th birthday and it was an utterly delightful experience. My wife and I are art and architecture lovers and this hotel provided us with great experiences for both of our interests. The lobby is simply gorgeous with its large sculpted space and the sculptures that greet you. It makes you feel like you are... More

My husband and I just spent three nights at the Conrad hotel this past weekend. Every room is a small suite complete with wet bar and huge walk in shower. The room was appointed beautifully with a small sitting room, shower, sink and toilet room and bedroom. It was very tastefully decorated in soft neutrals. The staff, without exception, was... More

Staying in TriBeCa

Neighborhood Profile
TriBeCa
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighborhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighborhood home.
