From the moment we entered we loved the hotel. It smelled fresh. All workers we met were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and modern. It even had a Nespresso machine and complimentary bottled water. Close by is the Hudson River. Beautiful to walk along the river and stop for drinks or snacks or boat rides.

We were spending a day in NYC and had heard of the loopy doopy rooftop bar(16 floor) It is average in size..the views not too particularly "spectacular".. Mostly surrounded by tall buildings( so you'll be privy to lots of windows,) .. The only remarkable view..The Statue of Liberty..is hidden by satirically placed shrubbery.. It gets packed rather quickly( there are... More

We visited with two teenage boys. We booked with Booking.com and requested a high story room and a river view as this was my 50th birthday celebration , neither of which we got. However it was worth paying the extra money for this hotel as the extra room in the suite was invaluable. Our teenage boys could stay up watching... More

I went for a sales business meeting and stayed two nights. The hotel is like a large white empty cavern. There is little to no character to the building and rooms. The staff is a little stuffy and the business services team was very expensive and lazy. The only compliment I can give this hotel is the bed, which was... More

The Conrad NYC is a good hotel for the most part.although, the service isn't particularly warm or inviting. And I found the lobby to be a quiet relaxing place but I"ve always wondered why the dinging of the elevators (in many hotels) needs to be so loud. I understand that this ringing provides a service especially for people with visual... More

We were upgraded so this is a reflection on what we got against what we paid. Beds were very comfortable - loved the pillows. We had a parlor. Light control was great, two televisions but I didn't perceive any premium channels, all were US oriented. Breakfast cost was outrageous. Locale was good with surprisingly quick access to WTC and the... More

My whole family love this hotel. We have gone every year for our daughters birthday and they always make her feel special. I cannot say enough good things about the area also since you are within easy reach of the bike path.

We recently stayed at the Conrad on a recent visit to NYC. The location is great if you plan on visiting the 9/11 Memorial & Museum. I found the lobby open and spacious. The check in process was a bit slow but overall efficient .... Our room, which was on the 6th floor had a lovely view..and I was very... More

Just got back from a wonderful 5 days in New York, we had a great time but the best part about the stay was the Conrad. Please ignore any negative comments about this hotel as the people commenting will never be happy. Every member of staff is helpful and courteous all the time the rooms are immaculate and spotless. Didn't... More

The hotel grounds and rooms are spectacular. The lobby is very spacious and well designed, and the same can be said about the rooms. They're all semi-suites and are slightly larger than the average hotel room, which is very impressive for a hotel in NYC. Prices are also very reasonable if you book early enough and from the right website.... More

Staying in TriBeCa

Neighborhood Profile
TriBeCa
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighborhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighborhood home.
