We stayed here during a convention at Javits Center. Easy walk to the convention & times square. Very modern rooms & lobby. Loved the hotel, it reminds me of flying on Virgin America. Very friendly staff. The weekend private parties seemed a little wild though.... The club loung was closed during these parties.

Trying too hard to be hip and cool is probably the most opposite of hip and cool I can imagine. Bed is incredibly uncomfortable, showerhead is straight-down only so it's difficult to languish, it's either drench-fest or barely getting wet (and therefore catching the chilly draft). Very clean, well designed cabins otherwise, but bed and shower reign supreme for me... More

I absolutely loved this hotel experience. The hotel itself has a good location a few blocks from Broadway and Times Square. The design is beautiful. The staff is extremely helpful and display great customer service. Each morning I got up it was a staff member ready to assist me on getting a cab. The hotel has a club inside of... More

Yotel by far is the best place to stay in NY! I love this Hotel! When we first arrived Chris was on the street and was so adorable, fun, informative and just so darn awesome. He took our bags from the car and we started our stay at Yotel. Johanna and Ariya in the concierge area one word describes them... More

My brother and I stayed one night to see a Broadway show. Since we were just there to change clothes, sleep and shower the next morning, the small room and bath size did not bother us. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. The rain shower shower head was nice and the body wash refreshing. We made... More

Initially, I hesitated to stay in this hotel because of it's location. However, it turned out to be a great location and we felt safe in walking from the Yotel to the subway stations and to Times Square. A grocery store is around the corner so we were able to save some money by purchasing some food there. Hotel rooms... More

We liked the cabin, compact, but with everything we needed. The hotel was well situated for our itinerary. Staff were very helpful. Stopped short of excellent because the bar prices were expensive, more in keeping with the restaurant, and when we started unpacking we realized that our room had not been cleaned. This was remedied on request and high standard... More

We stayed here in October 2011. Very modern room, check out the pics at their website, it is exactly what you get. The rooms are small which is expected in a big city. The bed retracts to give you more room during the day. When retracted the beds are comfy for watching TV. The beds are very firm for sleeping.... More

Great location, very easy to find, easy access to times square and rest of Manhattan. Check in process is very quick and simple on the computers in the lobby, the guys there will help and show you to your room, giving you some useful info about the hotel on the way. The room is small compared to other US rooms... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
