I've been here with my girlfriend at the beginning of January, during very cold days... the beginning was not the best part, because we were ringing the bell for several minutes with no person coming to open the door. At the end someone come, asking our names: we had reserved through Booking.com, already paid, but they couldn't find our reservation.... More

The guesthouse was adorable with lovely decoration. It is uniquely designed with unbelievable furniture, it has a lot of history. Felicia was amazing! She was very approachable and helpful, she could not have done more for her guests. This is a great place, hosted by a wonderful host!

The worst experience ever and absolutely unbelievable. First, not noted a check in required before 7pm but happened to notice a review complaining of major issues arriving later so sent an email and received confirmation of late arrival. The plane was delayed at which point the staff took off and had to find alternate accommodation. Unbelievably, the owner refuses to... More

This hotel was wonderful! It's away from the heart of the city but is a short subway ride away. It's a very charming home and the owner/host is most accommodating. Each room has unique, antique furnishing combined with modern amenities. The breakfast is wonderful so make sure you pay for the breakfast. You will not regret it. I would definitely... More

This place has so much potential if it wasn't for Felicia. The owner Felicia was hot and cold. We could not get a hold of her for more than 1/2 hour at 11:00pm when we arrived despite the advance notice of a late check in. When we did get a hold of her she seemed annoyed that we couldn't find... More

The manager of this hotel is incredibly rude and has no manners at all. She almost didn't let us in because our plane had been delayed through no fault of our own, obviously, which made an already stressful situation unbearable. She kept putting the phone down on me and telling me to phone booking.com because she "doesn't deal directly with... More

We had great holiday here. Felicia made us very welcome and was helpful in giving up tips on how to have a good holiday in New York. The breakfast provided gave us a good start to the day and as did the pleasant conversation with Felicia. The breakfast was more than adequate with fresh fruit, a range of pastries and... More

After waiting half an hour in the snow with another guest we were then let in with no apology. We did get chocolates for valentines though. The house was beautiful and much nicer than other places we had stayed for a similar price. The room was large and well decorated, the bed was also very comfortable. We had breakfast included... I had a really nice stay here. It felt like a home away from home. Felicia and her support staff were very kind and warm to me, so I have nothing but positive comments to make. I was surprised when I arrived to the front of the home and really thought it was an abandoned place, but I rang the... More
