The hotel is really ideally situated and the staff is polite. The rooms are clean and bathroom is very well equipped. Do not spend too much on balconies as they are probably overlooking the wall. What can be quite annoying is the sound of ventilation if your room is close to the roof. However it is quite possible to enjoy... More

This was a comfortable hotel in a good location for where I needed to be. Their restaurant was undergoing some work at the time so there was no food available in the hotel. But aside from that inconvenience of having no room service, it was a nice stay.

When we arrived all the staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. The room was very clean, modern, and bright. The bathroom was just as nice. the balcony was okay, not the view we had wished but otherwise a very great- overall had a wonderful stay.

I just stay one night. I stay in Skyline Suite room with Terrace. The room is nice. The bed is comfortable. The terrace is good. The bathroom is also nice and clean. I like the hotel and the location is pretty nice. BUT after I checked out the afternoon, they charge me a ginger ale in the minibar. I did... More

Did Hotwire and got a great price. Upgraded to a 23rd floor room and it was really quiet for NYC. Really large for NYC too. Nice room. Terrace was nice although it's direct view was a blank building. Could have further upgraded to a really good view. Still was nice to be able to go outside. There was another shared... More

Wow!!! Great hotel. From the doorman to the barman at brass bar on the roof. Amazing suite: attention to all I needed. Huge comfortable Batbed. Big plasma TV (bat screen!!! Sorry flat screen) with never ending channels. Unique design of room with everything Batman. Coffee, tea, alcohol, chocolate and stuff you never find in the minibar of other hotels. Passion... More

We arrived at the Hotel at 3.00 for a 4 night stay and only had to wait a few minutes to get our room (113 on the 11th floor) .We were attracted to the Gotham because of its location and the outside terrace. In practice the terrace was unusable as it was just opposite the roof of an adjoining building... More

This was our first time in New York and the Gotham was a great base. Very clean boutique hotel. We stayed on 17th floor so nice and quiet. Small terrace with a side view of the city but any outside space is a bonus. Room was spotless with a really comfortable bed. Staff were very efficient and friendly. Would definitely... More

Great staff. Had a skyline room on tenth floor. Not much to look at but nice to have a huge balcony for some air, comfortable bed. Small hotel, no crowds, very close to everything midtown. Nice change from large chain touristy hotels. Tenpenny great for drinks and a meal. Wonderful bartender. My room needed a full length mirror. Thats about... More

We stayed here during a last minute quick trip to NYC. Love that I found this hotel-it has a really nice balcony large windows we had a beautiful view. On to the not so good part- our air conditioning wasn't working but they did everything they could to help us out. We loved that they had a balcony in the... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
