Cleanliness and Rooms are great, Great Staff, I did get a big deal on February so it was great value for Money. I would stay again here definitely. Only downside was safe deposit (was closed and had to ask front desk to come and open it)

The Gotham hotel is unlike many others you might have visited. It is small (I figure only about 40 rooms), yet high (22+ floors). It is located in a very busy, very urban, very chique area (close to 5th Av and the Rock), yet it is rather quiet, almost 'introvert'. It is fairly new, yet the rooms have been decorated... More

The rooms are large and well appointed with a balcony - although you might have a view of the wall. The bed was big and quite comfy. The bathroom was somewhat cramped, but otherwise clean and modern. Upon arrival, there was a welcome note from the management on the desk with a bottle of water and bag of nuts, leading... More

This is a return visit to The Gotham. Small, neat, caring and the most comfortable bed! My husband became ill and they referred me to a physician and were extremely conscientious and there for us. I can't wait to come back and stay there for our next visit to NYC. The rooms are small but definitely fine. Nothing fancy but clean... More

This hotel was the perfect place to stay in NYC. It was in walking distacne to most major attractions such as Times Square, The Empire State Building, Central Park and Grand Central Station. The rooms are large and have a balcony. The beds were very big and comfortable. The shower was amazing as well. Staff were also very helpful. Nothing... More

After months (almost 3) of reading reviews, googling images, and looking for deals I finally booked The Gotham. Many other hotels in the same price range had many mixed reviews and nearly all of The Gothams reviews were very good. Conveniently located and in close walking distance to Times square, Central Park, Grand Central Station, etc,. Rooms are exactly as... More

Spent New Years week here for the second time in a row! Love the big comfy beds and the balcony is a nice touch! Staff was very courteous and helpful and loved the location for walking pretty much anywhere. We logged 10 plus miles each day and loved coming "home" to relax before exploring some more! We did the 4... More

Well appointed, if small room. Very clean, modern and the windows open which is great if you hate air conditioning. Good location, relatively quiet and nice restaurant on the main floor. Amazing price and excellent value for $. Would recommend.

My husband and I stayed here over Thanksgiving / eary December 2014 for a week. We know New York well having lived there for several years, and have stayed in various hotels as well on visits. This hotel is in an excellent location, a short walk from everything you want to see or do in New York. The rooms are... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
