Walking distance from Broadway / Times Square and other NY attractions. A boutique hotel with bright and clean rooms and a very nice balcony on each floor. They also have a very nice restaurant / steakhouse that can be accessed by the hotel. We made our reservation using hotels tonight so we got a really good rate.

Just stayed at The Gotham and what a wonderful place to stay. Say hello to Liela at the front desk! What a smile! The hotel is boutique with only 67 rooms but 25 stories!! Skinny tall is the new black! Also, you must try the new famed restaurant, Wolfgang's steak restaurant. Try the Prime rib!

We were able to upgrade to a king size room with a mini terrace so our room was pretty big. We were on the 16th floor but on the back side of the building so we didn't have a great view but a view nonetheless. The bathroom was nice and the shower had one of those waterfall type shower heads.... More

The Hotel was really clean and well decorated. The staff was very friendly and helpful, if we needed anything. The room was big and the beds very comfortable. The bathroom was nice, too. The only negative thing about this hotel is, that we didn`t get enough towels at the beginning, when we asked for more we just got 2 more.... More

Ive stayed at Gotham previously, and the location is great. During my second stay I couldnt find a makeup brush, so pulled the sheets back to see if it fell between the headboard and mattress. OMG 3 big blood stains where i just slept (albeit w a thin sheet over). Head of housekeeping took pics, told manager-I heard nothing. Called... More

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for our honeymoon and I've got to say its the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The location is pretty good however the service and accommodation is shocking for the price that we paid. When we arrived at the hotel, as excited newly-weds we told the receptionists that we had travelled... More

The room was very clean and modern. It was a great experience with the staff and the location was perfect. About a 10 minute walk to times square. I really enjoyed my stay here and would recommend to anyone visiting New York. There isn't a batman theme =( But it was still a darker hotel which made it feel that... More

Booked this hotel at a very good rate through Hotel Tonight. It has a good central location in Midtown on a quiet street. The hotel itself is modern, hip and clean. The room (#53) was large and the bathroom was good sized. There was a small balcony that overlooked nothing. The staff seemed friendly enough. Eddie the bellhop was helpful... More

We stayed here for 1 night in late June. It was a wonderful experience. We had two rooms, each had a king size bed, flat screen TV, beautifully appointed bathrooms. We did not go to the restaurant that is in the hotel. The best part of our stay was the time we spent on the terrace overlooking the street. Times... More

I stayed there for 4 days and did not want to leave. The hotel has an amazing location. I have booked a standard room via hotel tonight. The size of the room was just fantastic, bigger than most of the 5 star hotels where I stayed previously, even with a balcony (not useful because it was facing the wall of... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
