My wife and I stayed here over the Memorial Day weekend. I picked up a nice rate on one of the travel websites which made for an even better experience. The hotel is a small, boutique hotel - in which they are remodeling their restaurant (Wolfgang's Steakhouse) so no food there. We stayed on the second floor - which I... More

If you are looking for a place for a comfortable stay in Manahattan, Gotam hotel has the peace for a good night sleep. It has a perfect location, so close to times square. Donot expect too many amenities at the hotel. Only a cozy room to stay with a mini-bar, television and a decent bathroom.

The hotel seems to be undergoing some changes. A few new staff at the front desk, floors are being renovated and the resturant is now Wolfgang's Steakhouse (closed for breakfast during our stay) Stayed over the Memorial weekend in the Skyline Room. First off if you are staying during the week, be prepared for some early morning and ongoing noise... More

We stayed here for one night over Memorial Day weekend and were not disappointed. The room was clean, spacious, and had a nice King-sized bed. Although our room had a balcony, we were located on the back of the hotel, therefore with a limited view. Still it was a nice stay at an affordable price for NYC. My only criticism... More

This hotel is located on an unassuming block of east 46th between 5th and Park. Very modern design without being trendy. The staff were excellent. I went through orbitz for my reservation and the hotel staff called and worked everything out. The room was huge by New York standards, and I mean this as the highest compliment. This was a... More

The hotel is really ideally situated and the staff is polite. The rooms are clean and bathroom is very well equipped. Do not spend too much on balconies as they are probably overlooking the wall. What can be quite annoying is the sound of ventilation if your room is close to the roof. However it is quite possible to enjoy... More

This was a comfortable hotel in a good location for where I needed to be. Their restaurant was undergoing some work at the time so there was no food available in the hotel. But aside from that inconvenience of having no room service, it was a nice stay.

When we arrived all the staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. The room was very clean, modern, and bright. The bathroom was just as nice. the balcony was okay, not the view we had wished but otherwise a very great- overall had a wonderful stay.

I just stay one night. I stay in Skyline Suite room with Terrace. The room is nice. The bed is comfortable. The terrace is good. The bathroom is also nice and clean. I like the hotel and the location is pretty nice. BUT after I checked out the afternoon, they charge me a ginger ale in the minibar. I did... More

Did Hotwire and got a great price. Upgraded to a 23rd floor room and it was really quiet for NYC. Really large for NYC too. Nice room. Terrace was nice although it's direct view was a blank building. Could have further upgraded to a really good view. Still was nice to be able to go outside. There was another shared... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
