Close to 5th Avenue & shopping, as well as a host of other things. The room was quite large, compared to some hotel rooms we've been in (*cough* Hudson Hotel), with an oversize bathroom and shower, plus the room had its own balcony (room # 143, on the 14th floor). Spent a Sunday night to Monday morning, so it was... More

Ok. I have tried to be a as fair as possible with this review, so here goes.. We fly in from Australia and went to baggage claim to get our limo that the Gotham had organised for us, it wasn't there.. Ok, I hear you say it's not there fault the limo didn't turn up... Agreed, however the way it... More

We were in town for family reasons, not necessarily as tourists, so were not interested in splurging as we might for an official vacation. Compared with other hotels this one seemed "reasonable" (nothing in NY is cheap!), so we booked it. I was afraid that we might be in for a room that felt tired or slightly seedy... and was... More

The property was well located but the room we got was not what I was expecting. Huge yellow wall stain put me off right away. The bathroom was nice, good shower. I noticed that they did not clean the room thoroughly each day...dust remained, glasses we used for water unwashed, etc. Our room was in the back of the building.....not... More

Just spent a night in NYC at the Gotham Hotel on 46th Street. What a little gem this hotel is! The rooms although not the largest, have all the amenities you would hope. Terrific king size beds, very modern bathroom and quiet! The restaurant/bar attracts many locals and is a good spot for an evening cocktail, specially on Tuesdays when... More

I arrive quite late, and am given the «Penthouse»; ie large-ish top floor room, which is extremely hot. AC at full blast barely noticeable, and it’s 5 am before it’s below 25°C and I’m able to sleep. Bed is nice and soft. Wine fridge filled with champagne and prosecco is not turnd on. With the heat in the room I... More

I stayed here for one night while on a recent business trip. I found the hotel room to be large (apparently larger than average for NYC), very clean with a nice 'minimalist' style - and a great shower. The room had a small balcony but it looked straight out onto other buildings and was near a noisy air conditioning unit... More

Initially...an impressive, small boutique hotel with a slick entrance and foyer of white marble. Rooms are attractive and minimalist ...with lovely bathrooms. This is where it all ends, as there is little else provided for the "hospitality"or other needs of visitors to NYC? This hotel appears to have no desire to attend to the "hospitality needs" of its guests. (... More

I was injured at the Gotham by a piece of metal that was in the padding of the bed. All I asked was for help to get to a minor medical and asked them to pay for the shot. They refused any help, manager was very rude and accused me of jabbing a piece of metal in my back. I... More
