A friend and I decided to celebrate our December birthdays by spending three nights in NYC, and we couldn't have found a more welcoming and knowledgeable host than Susan, a 5th generation New Yorker. For example we wanted to visit the recently dedicated 9/11 Memorial; but for Susan we wouldn't have known that we needed a timed reservation and ticket... More

We stayed with Susan for four nights and had a lovely time! I love New York, but it's always so difficult to find a nice place to stay. Susan offers a great deal for a small, private room and bathroom on the Upper West Side, plus a delicious breakfast in the morning. She's also very friendly and helpful in terms... More

This is a perfect base for exploring New York. The accommodation was clean and the bed was fantastic (important for my bad back). Great breakfast, plenty of good advice and friendly conversation from a real New York enthusiast. Seven days were just not enough! There's nothing not to love about this place. More

We stayed at this lovely B&B for 7 nights...and it was just like home sweet home. We had a wonderful time here. Susan is extremely friendly and helpful. She answers to all your questions and gives you good and precious advices for your trip in NY. We'll miss her breakfasts, so yummy...bagels, croissants or apple pie, orange juice, coffee and... More

My wife and I are retired teachers in our mid-sixties from a very small remote and isolated community in Manitoba, Canada. While we have travelled a fair amount we had never been to New York and we undertook a six night visit with trepidition for a number of reasons. We had heard all the horror stories about crime in New... More

My husband and I stayed in New York at Between the Parks B 'n B for only four days and wished it was longer. This is a great spot to be at as it is very close to the Sub way trains and also the most wonderful park in the world- Central Park. Our room was small but very clean... More

The Upper West Side location is great: it's a short walk to Central Park, to the Met and Natural History Museum, to Riverside Park, to the excellent restaurants and markets on Broadway and Amsterdam. The room is quite nice: cozy, quiet, attractive, and immaculate. But the best thing may be the host: Susan is warm, helpful, and considerate: she's a... More

Yes, the room is simple. In this case, simple is best. Having a comfortable and quiet (and dark!) bed and bathroom after a busy day/night of touring NYC was exactly what we needed. Susan is a gracious and helpful host. She is one of the few that puts the "breakfast" back into privately-hosted B-n-Bs. The location was perfect for us... More

Our stay with Susan was excellent. We liked the location near Central Park, and the Upper West Side area with nice restaurants and stores. It was very easy to go with Metro downtown. Susan is a warm and nice person, who made us feel very welcome. She gave us good advice about places to visit, and things to do. Breakfast... More

Between the Parks is a cozy little BnB, conveniently located on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. Susan, the owner, is warm and inviting. Her knowledge of the city is very helpful for getting around an avoiding tourist traps. The room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was lovely. My husband and I would stay there again in a heartbeat.
