We found a hidden gem in New York City. The St Giles Hotel - The Court New York. Our room was huge (and we don't need the disclaimer "by New York Standards". It was the three "C's". Clean, convenient, and comfortable. All of this with an added bonus of the best bath products I've ever found in a hotel. The... More

Stayed at this hotel for 1 week from 18 - 25 October. It's very convenient to all the major places to visit and of course the shopping! Rooms were big for NY and very very clean. As there has been much written about the bed bug situation in the city we really gave our room close inspection and it passed... More

I recently stayed at the St. Giles - The Court and I must say that I enjoyed every minute of my stay. The room was spacious and clean and the huge walk-in closet made me wish I brought more luggage! Additionally, from check-in to check-out the staff was extremely friendly and and made me feel right at home. If you... More

I have stayed numerous times at the Court hotel when it was the W and now as part of the St Giles Hotel chain. The hotel is as good or better then when it was under the W name and at better rates then the W. The rooms are spacious and the service is excellent. If your looking for a... More

I booked this hotel through Priceline and at check-in, the only mention of Priceline was that it was a prepaid reservation. The very friendly staff member asked what type of room we wanted and we asked if they had one with nice view. We were given an upgrade to a very nice room on a high floor with a view... More

This was our first visit to this hotel. We have been in NY for many times and this time we wanted to experience a different hotel. The hotel is nicely located, near a subway. We had a corner room at the back so pretty quiet. Room had for NY standard a lot of space, bathroom on the other hand had... More

Having stayed at the location I was curious to see what changes had happened over the past few months - and, more importantly, what was on the horizon. The overall vibe is still W - but you can see the St. Giles personality starting to shine through. The warm response upon check in; even the greetings from housekeeping as you... More

A little background... I travel to NYC quite a bit on business. I like to stay in the midtown area for easy access to clients, but outside the crush of Times Square. For years, I've alternated between the W Court, W Tuscany (both now owned by St.Giles), the local Kimpton properties and Le Meridian. Let's compare two recent stays. Two... More

We are so sorry you had such a Negative experience at our property. We would very much like to make this up to you if that is at all possible. To speak to some of the items mentioned, we have investigated vigorously and continue to do so to ensure we are not hit with the BB issue that so many... More

I booked this hotel through the "secret sale" on Quikbook, which rated it four stars. It was fine on many levels, but a four star it's not. The most annoying things were the lack of shelf space and decent lighting in the bathroom -- two issues that I think would matter to anyone over the age of 10. They didn't... More

I celebrated my 50th birthday with friends in New Your at the St Gile - The court. It could not have been better! The staff was gracious , the rooms enormous and well appointed and the location could not be beat.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
