We recently stayed at W: The Court for a Bachelorette Weekend. Many of our friends live in the city and the bride lived in Manhattan for years. As such, we liked the location, which is moreso on the edge of Murray Hill. I don't know if the location would work so much if you have never been to NYC and... more

I've stayed at many W Hotels around the country; this one is nothing spectacular, but it's really nice in its own way. It's smaller and quieter than the other W's (esp. W Union Square or Times Square!) but the decor is just as smart and the staff is just as pleasant. For some reason the Starwood website offered this hotel... more

This was our first trip to New York for our 10th wedding anniversary, so we were excited to be in the city. The hotel reception was small and dark but atmospheric, the desk staff, very friendly. When the receptionist discovered where we had travelled from (Ireland), she upgraded our room from "a Wonderful room" to "a Spectacular Room". To be... more

We're a family of four, kids 10 and 14, staying overnight for night out in NYC. Could not get doubles so asked for a King and a cot. Pleasantly surprised to find out that we had doubles when checking in. The service was excellent. Blue Fin had good sushi. The rooms are small, we kept stepping over each other. Overall... more

I stayed at W Union Square, the Times Square hotel and the Court on 39th Street. BIG MISTAKE TO STAY AT THE COURT The Court, I can't even believe this is a W! I've traveled to a lot of high end hotels with work and on vacations and Ws are always my first choice. The bellmen are sweet but one... more

My husband and I booked this hotel thru Starwoods. The hotel was nice, beautiful lobby and lounge area. Our room was furnished well, but when it came down to it, it was just a cramped New York hotel room with nice furniture in it. They didn't make it as nice as it seemed they wanted to. The only exception was... more

A wonderful place to stay with friends or if you're a young couple. I love the ambiance at the W, but it's not for everyone - such as the 75 yr. old man that we spoke with in the elevator who was disturbed by the "loud, banging lounge music". It's trendy, urban and like most Ws, has a lounge/bar area... more

I took my mother to NYC for her 85th birthday and I needed a hotel centrally located so that she didn't have to walk long distances. She and I were definitely much older than the W's target market but we had a great time nonetheless. When we walked into the lobby, the lights were low and the music from the... more

Great location. I had a nice room on 5th floor overlooking the street. Very comfortable and in great shape. It was also pretty reasonable at that time. more
