I am really glad that we came across the Grand Harlem when looking for accommodation in NY. Especially Kellyn is so welcoming, friendly and she gives you valuable information about Harlem and is ready to help you with every request you might have. We appreciated a lot guided Harlem tour with Kellyn, in short she is a great hostess. Moreover,... More

Harlem Grand is a basic bed & breakfast type facility (just that no breakfast is served. You can instead buy vouchers for breakfast at nearby eateries. There is also a small kitchen at the third floor). It is situated in a traditional Harlem brown brick, three blocks off 125st (the heart of modern Harlem) and next door to Morningside Park.... More

I stayed here with a girlfriend recently and absolutely loved it! Kellyn was great! So helpful, gracious, and hospitable, making our stay much more enjoyable. The room was beautifully decorated and gave us a home away from home feel. We will stay here again in the future. Thanks again, Kellyn! You were wonderful! :)

I visited New York City a few weeks ago and had a lovely stay at the Harlem Grand, it truly was a home away from home. Kellyn was gracious and welcoming. My room was cozy and the bed was out of this world comfortable. Located steps away form the subway, and at a reasonable are, the Harlem Grand is ideal... More

We stayed here for 8 nights - combining holiday and daughter moving into student digs at Barnard. Beautiful house and room - full of character and warmth. Very comfortable bed (much needed after a exploring New York on foot!) and the bed linen was sumptuous. Kellyn was a wonderful host - lovely balance of interest & care with professional distance.... I had a wonderful stay at the Harlem Grand for New Years. The location on one of the most picturesque blocks in Harlem is very convenient to public transportation and many upscale new restaurants along Frederick Douglas Blvd as well as established Harlem eateries on the east west thoroughfare, 125th St, The Inn Keeper, Kellyn, is informative and most accommodating... I stayed here for two nights while on vacation in the US. The room was clean, comfortable, quiet and stylish, and the location was excellent. Kellyn was very accommodating, offering me an informative car tour of her beautiful Harlem neighborhood. On the tour, she pointed out all the excellent restaurants, the location of the subway, the Apollo Theatre, etc. The... More

I stayed in this B&B for 4 nights. The place is quaint but needs renovations. There is a $25 late check in fee for arrivals past 7pm and $50 past 11pm and DO NOT FORGET to have with you all the money in cash, in full upon arrival otherwise they WILL NOT let you get in! I arrived at 7... More
