My return trip in 2014 was wonderful. This time, my room had a side window facing St Patricks Cathedral, plus a balcony like before. What a bonus thrill. Through emails & phone calls from corporate office, I was reassured my requests would be taken care of. This trip will not be my last. Each day the staff greeted me with... More

Booked this property day of as a last minute getaway to the city. Our room was on the second floor facing the adjacent building. The view was nothing to write home about, but it was quiet all night. Check in was easy and a $50 hold was placed on my debit card. It seemed the room we had was an... More

Great location and facilities. The management however leaves a lot to be desired. I booked a queen sized bed at the Jewel arriving at 5pm for check-in. I was met with the typical " there is a problem with your reservation", I was then transferred to the Club Quarters Hotel a few doors down with no explanation. Never mind I... More

The room was small, but the service and location were huge!! Great staff! Very kind and helpful! We would definitely stay here again. The location of the hotel is also a big plus. If you want a quiet, clean, centrally located hotel in NYC this is the place!

Small rooms but brilliantly laid out, very ergonomic, efficient and clean. Everything about the room is built for the size - thermostat by bed, cleanex by bed. Filtered water on the floor with water bottles was a great touch. Could check out late (3PM) for an extra $50. Right across from Rockefeller Plaza, Radio City Music hall on the same... More

Very nice hotel in an unbeatable location, across the street from Rock Center, just down the block from Radio City Music Hall. I was here this trip on business, the hotel staff was friendly and helpful, recognizing me by name when I came and went. The room was newly done, small but very comfortable. I would highly recommend The Jewel.

I live close to NYC, but stayed here for work for a few days. First off, the location is excellent. Steps away from Radio City Music Hall on 51st Street. Rooms are small but about what you'd expect and enough for my purposes. Very clean and modern as well as very quiet. They have what they call a living room... More

What can you say being across from 30 Rock? For NYC it is a great location at an even better price. Some people have had noise complaints but during our stay for 4 nights it was a beautiful and quiet location. Very nice hotel, decent sized room for its location with modern amenities. My only suggestion to the hotel is... More

We stayed one Saturday night; checked in in the afternoon and left at noon the next day. The location of the hotel cannot be beat. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Although there is not much of a lobby, the lounge of the 2nd floor makes up for that. The room was a little small, but was configured very... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
