My husband and I and another couple stayed here this week. Brilliant apartment, clean, pretty, lots of space and storage, well-equipped kitchen. Close to lots of great bars and shops. I would stay again.

It started with some contradictions about the address where we were going to stay. That already made me a little bit suspicious. Arriving at JFK he told by phone we had to go to yet another address. We could not go to the initial address because of problems with the owner. Once at the new address he told us that... More

Just got back from a fantastic trip and stay in NYC! Honestly can't fault the apartment we had, there was 4 girls on the trip and it was fantastic having two bedrooms and two bathrooms for the same price (if not cheaper) than the cost of 1 hotel room for the same about of time! Chris was lovely and made... More

We chose East Village suites as we wanted to have accommodation which was suitable for a small child i.e. self catering, seperate living room... We were met at the apartment by Chris and so begins the beginning of a beautiful relationship! All joking aside, this visit was differentiated by Chris and his family who were the perfect hosts. Generally, reviews... More

My family and I could not have asked for a better place in the city to stay! Chris was easy to deal with both before we got there and after. The apartment exceeded our expectations in every way. We look forward to going back very soon! David & Marla Pyle

Staying in East Village

Neighborhood Profile
East Village
There’s still an independent vibe to the East Village, which offers plenty of unique small businesses catering to longtime New Yorkers and area college students alike. The East Village retains a bit of the old-time neighborhood feel that you can still experience today thanks to a mix of locally-owned shops, cozy restaurants, and lively bars. The scale of the residential blocks makes this a wonderful place to wander up and down the streets searching for the newest hip spot, or an old-school favorite. In the center of the neighborhood, Tompkins Square Park serves as a gathering point for the New Yorkers that call the East Village home. The people-watching here is hard to beat.
