After reading a few negative reviews,I started to worry about booking the metro apartments. But on our arrival I was very happy with the reception and our room.(3g) Clean, tidy and comfy bed. Heating was great to come into after been out in the cold. Shower was powerful. I would definitely book the metro apartments again. They are in a great... More

Only stayed one night, but the Metro was very reasonably priced, surprisingly spacious for midtown NYC and has kitchen facilities if you need a break from endlessly eating out. We would stay there again.

Stayed in a room at the back which looks onto the port authority bus depot Room was definitely unrenovated, but clean & tidy Staff were friendly Buses leave/enter the depot every 5 seconds - but it was a bit like white noise & didn't affect our sleeping - but best bring ear plugs Very close to Broadway so roads around... Afraid very disappointed with this hotel. Paid a premium for staying 2 nights around NYE but the room they gave us was on the 5th floor and level with a very busy overpass. So extremely noisy. Room also very dated. Went back down to reception and paid another $100 plus tax for the two nights & got a beautiful apartment... More

This review is very late. I stayed here in November 2013 with a friend for 3-4 nights. We booked this place rather blindly through Hotels.com, as we searched for a hotel in the area we wanted and for the price we were staying in. We didn’t know which hotel we were assigned to until we hit the confirmation page. So... More

Lobby looks awesome, my room was old and smelly. For the price I paid, I would have stayed somewhere much better. Huge line to check in. Huge line to check out. If you have no other option stay there, otherwise don't even consider.

We had a 5 day stay in the run up to Christmas. Very satisfied in all respects. We were a couple and teenage son and had a one bed studio. Perfect arrangement for us, one bedroom and pull out bed in the living area. Kitchen facilities are ample if you want to cook. We used the coffee maker only. No... More

I, along with 5 friends, stayed in the Metro Apartments in December 2014 and had an amazing experience. We were in room 11C which was newly renovated (so newly we could fresh paint the first day). There was 2 double beds, closet, dresser, and small balcony in the bedroom; small table and chairs, microwave, coffee maker, mini fridge, dishes, and... More

This is my home away from home when I visit my beloved New York City. Right on Hell's Kitchen, few blocks away from Madison Square and all the boiling action. This place is tasteful, very clean, quiet, roomy and updated. Great management and parking garage right across the street. Always go for one of the lofts. Laundry room is on... More

The room was clean and big enough for us (4 people) but what we didn't like is that there was no room housekeeping for the two nights we stayed there the beds were not done and they didn't change the towels and when I called to complain about it they told me "if you want clean towels you have to... Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
