You can NOT go wrong with staying at the Pearl. The location is superb! We walked to all of our shows, Rockefeller Center, Radio City Music Hall, and even down to Central Park (about 15 min walk). The staff was most helpful with any request we had, and the complimentary breakfast and wine reception was just an added perk. Our... More

We had a one day trip into the city for shopping, dinner and the theatre. We tried the Pearl based on trip adviser reviews and found it ideal for us. Price was very reasonable and all the staff were as pleasant as any place we have ever been in New York City over the last 30 years. Accommodations are very... More

Very low-key, quiet hotel in a great location. Literally across the street from hottest Broadway show, "The Book of Mormon" and a 60 second walk to "Chicago." Walking distance from many other attractions: Rockefeller Center, Time Square, Central Park, 5th Avenue shopping and countless restaurants. I'm 6 months pregnant, so walking was a bit more of a challenge than usual,... More

Very plesent stay a the pearl. The location is perfect for uptown exploration. The subway is close by, tons of choices for food, and theaters within walking distance. We will likely stay here again on future trips into the city.

The Pearl was an exceptional hotel. Friendly staff, spotless room, and a TV in the bathroom - what more could you ask for?! The continental breakfast was very nice with a lot of selection. The room was so quiet and very spacious. We were there for our honeymoon and upon arriving, mentioned that to the staff while talking with them.... More

First trip to NYC and not really sure what to expect in terms of standard of hotel but from the moment the taxi pulled up outside the hotel we knew we'd made the right choice, the staff are lovely, very friendly and give excellent advice to first timers to New York. Everything said on Tripadvisor is spot on, room was... More

I visited NYC for the first time in November and after speaking to friends who'd visited New York before, I was anxious about the condition of the hotel. I was pleasantly surprised to be greeted by a well-dressed doorman as soon as our taxi pulled up to the front door. The service in this hotel is excellent and our room... More

Stayed for the weekend with my wife and then another few nights for work meetings. Great location on both fronts. Very nice staff and very accommodating (thanks front desk and Darren, the mgr). Breakfast is sufficient and solid, rooms are very comfortable. Recommend higher floors and room away from the elevator (although would suggest this for all hotels). Some rooms... More

Stayed with my wife for my birthday. What made our stay so special was the staff. The young ladies who take care of the front desk could not be kinder or more accomodating. They are the reason you are so successful. I wanted to really thank Julissa, she could not have been nicer.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
