The staff at this DoubleTree make it my "go-to" place every time I teach a class in New York. They really go out of their way make you welcome and comfortable during your stay. The property is located within easy walking distance of anything you may need. The front desk staff, particularly Cindy and Kelliani are top quality professionals who... More

We didn't want the crowds of Times Square. This hotel is in a great location, reasonably priced. It's not five-diamond luxury, but it's classy enough. Reserved and got a high floor with a city view. Outstanding!! The room was not huge, but it was clean, very nice and comfortable, and all the amenities we needed. The staff was great here.... More

Quick access to Staten Island Ferry. Room was VERY small for 2 people. East access to Wall Street and 9/11 Memorial 20 min subway ride to time square Friendly and funny staff Held our luggage after we checked out at 11am till we got back at 8pm to then get a ride to the airport.

Great hotel for business travel if you need a comfortable room with good amenities in the financial district. Good restaurant, nice fitness facilities and amazing staff. They are always willing to go above and beyond to make sure you enjoy your stay.

Staff were somewhat friendly. Water came out brown in bathroom at first, got a note under the door saying plumbing was going to be shut off during our second night and to schedule use around the repairs. Faulty shower door left everything a mess, and dirty towels were left on the floor after requesting fresh towels because of the excessive... More

This was a nice clean comfortable hotel. Not many bells and whistles but super close to the subway, amazing coffee house across the street. You can walk to Staten Island Ferry battery bark and many yummy eateries. Nice quiet area. Staff was very friendly. Rooms were clean. Beds comfortable. It was pretty cold though, they could have used some warmer... More

For NYC, it was in a great location, quiet, and within walking distance of getting anywhere in New York. The only thing(s) to diminish are the fact that the lobby is on the 2nd floor (minor detail) and the elevators are slooooooowwww. Plan ahead by at least 10-15 minutes before you really want to leave just to account for the... More

I booked a room here to attend a wedding at Battery Park Gardens. As expected in NYC, the room was tiny, but It is located in a quiet street and was conveniently close to the subway. During the weekdays, food options are convenient. Security was good- bouncers near the entrance asking if you're a guest- but the elevators are slow... More

I stay in the Financial District a couple to 4 times a year, usually the Hampton, but this time, I went out a bit further from our office and stayed on Stone St. The room was larger than any I've stayed in for this area of NYC, and I was quite happy with the stay in general. The gym is... More

The location is ideal; it's quiet downtown on weekends. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The room was very clean but small, but we weren't in New York to hang out in our hotel. The elevators never bothered us, as it was the less-busy weekend.
