Stayed here for a weekend get away with my wife. The hotel itself is fine but service is lacking. At check in, the girl at the front desk was either hard of hearing or just not paying attention. As others have mentioned the elevators are slow. House keeping did not show up until 440 PM and it was too late... More

We stayed here because of the wedding we were attending was walking distance. The location is great and the Staff was very courteous (the fresh baked cookies on arrival also helped). However, the rooms were tiny (although the view from our window was really nice) and the room never got cleaned. We had to call to get the room cleaned... More

Neat and tidy hotel with compact rooms as is everywhere in manhattan. There are only 3 lifts which service 44 floors. This can get irritating especially during busier times and can take up to 10 minutes for a lift to arrive.

I normally don't leave reviews because this is time consuming and offers me no benefit. This place is just infuriating, I've stayed several times~10x with work (office across the street) and noted nothing but problems and poor customer service. I don't pay for these stays so its not about the $ - though I've got it on Hotwire for $244/night... More

I loved this hotel from the three gentlemen ( three!) who showed up to help me connect to wifi, to the room service that never took more than 15 minutes, to the bellman who walked me all the way to water street so I could get a cab at rush hour. Fantastic all around!

This hotel is a bit on the expensive side for the size of the rooms, I have stayed mid-town in bigger rooms for less. The location is convenient to the financial district and lower Manhattan with good access to the subway.

Rooms were quite nice for the price, staff friendly and helpful (under the circumstances) and good location for anything in the Battery or access to Ground Zero, plus a nice warm chocolate chip cookie upon registering, but we encountered one problem after another. First, one of the elevators went out of commission, leaving only two to service a busy weekend... More

By "hidden," I mean that my driver had a hard time finding it! It's on Stone St, which is a smaller, quiet street and the frontage isn't screaming "DoubleTree Hotel!" However, I found the service to be efficient. The rooms are clean, new, and up to the DoubleTree/Hilton standard. Absolutely no complaints. The rooms are a bit on the small... More
