A good three star hotel, well located for subway stations so that getting around Manhattan was easy. Our room was clean and large by New York standards and the ensuite facilities up to expectations. The breakfast spread was adequate. Our only complaint was that the lifts were slow.

It was a prime location in the middle of financial district easy accessible by public transportation and near main tourists' destinations; the room was tiny and oddly shaped. It was clean and reasonably priced though.

Not your typical Doubletree. Store front type entrance is hard to see. Lobby is dingy and check-in is on 3rd floor. Elevators are inadequate for size of property - expect long waits. Rooms are extremely small and there was no counter space in bathroom. Breakfast buffet for Gold/Diamond members is nothing special and no better than a Hampton continental breakfast.

We found this hotel expensive and with several issues. First though, the bell staff are exceptional - very willing and service oriented. One front desk clerk or perhaps manager also went out of his way to provide excellent service. However, we typically waited 15-30 minutes for an elevator, and the wait for a table at breakfast was equally long. The... More

I highly recommend this DoubleTree hotel for their excellent service, quality of the hotel and the location. There are so many sights to visit and places to eat in the area within walking distance. Subway stations were nearby as well with close proximity to the adjacent boroughs. I completely enjoy the New York City experience!

Loved my stay here! I stayed at the doubletree for 4 days and although it's pricey the service was great. One of the employees TONY was so nice from the moment we got to the hotel. He helped us find restaurants near us and even walked up the street to show us where the nearest open pizza place. And he... More

had a last minute getaway to the city, we checked the prices on line and walked in.. No advance booking and still a great rate. Free WIFI that worked well. The neighborhood was charming and very walkable with a lot of choices for places to eat or to get a drink, Battery Park is literally right around the corner, a... More

I was worried at first because after booking I read some awful reviews but we didnt have any problems. Staff was always pleasant and helpful. yes, the room was a bit small but clean and tidy. I read a lot about issues with the elevator and while it was slow at times we really never waited more than 5 maybe... More
