First time to NYC and we made a good call in where to stay. We had read reviews about delays with the elevator, but only had that happen once in four days. The room was clean and quiet, and this area of NYC was safe and was conveniently located to subway station. A couple of minor, minor things with speedy... More

This hotel is one of the worst hotels I have ever experienced. The elevators are soooo slow and we even planned an extra amount of time to be able to use them when necessary. I called ahead about a double bed and I talked to a really nice lady who told me as long as their is availability that day... More

Stayed at hotel over weekend for a friend's NYC wedding. Nice location as quieter than the ones very close to tourist places but still easy to get around. Several good restaurants nearby for easy walk. Room was comfortable but NYC-stereotypically small. One downside was the elevators were very few. Plan to take awhile for them to arrive if the hotel... This past weekend I booked and prepaid for a double room at this hotel using Plum Benefits. The room was for my best friend's bachelorette party whose wedding I am a bridesmaid in. A week prior to the reservation, I called the hotel to inquire about checking in earlier than the standard check in at 3 PM since we had... More

The hotel is OK. Its central in the financial district, close to the ferry but needs a bit of a makeover. The air conditioning was noisy and I had to switch off over night. There was no bath in the bathroom but the shower was good quality. The rooms as you might expect aren't the largest but OK. They seem... More

Staff is friendly enough, but service is not what I expected. One elevator was out (there are three). Extremely long wait to get on one that wasn't full. Bathroom is small. Tight sink space. Bath towels were on a shelf below the sink, while the wash cloths and hand towel were on a bar connected to the vanity. I had... More

This hotel was perfect for our family event. My daughter and I stayed here for a long week-end. We chose the place because of the good brand of Double Tree and the perfect location to my other daughter who lives in the Financial District.

The price was right with AAA, and the room was surprisingly a decent size for NYC. While still smaller than the average non-NYC room, we had two people in a king bed room and didn't feel like we were tripping all over each other. The room was clean, but we wished that a mini fridge would have been in the... More

Near by local trains. Starbucks is a plus for many and you can find 2 very close to the hotel. Within walking distance of the famous Battery park!!! The hotel restaurant had decent food but the service was average. Hotel staff was helpful for the most part.
