I arrived at the Cassa Hotel around 4 PM on Dec. 14th for a three night stay. I had booked through a third party site that offered a guaranteed upgrade, if available. Sure enough the friendly front desk person told me I had been upgraded to an Executive Room. I went up to room 2707, and what I noticed at... More

My wife took me on a surprise trip to New York for my 40 birthday and it was my 4th time in New York and this is the nicest hotel i have stayed in. It is clean, secure, comfy and possibly the most plesant hotel staff i have ever dealt with. Not over the top friendly but genuinely nice cordial... More

My fiancee and I stayed here and we loved it. Clean and urban style room with fantastic products. Very comfortable bed with luxurious bedding and perfect location near Times Square. Will definitely stay again!

My mom and I stayed at Cassa 3 nights in November 2010 for a wonderful weekend in NYC. As we checked in, Abraham gave us a complimentary upgrade to a Junior Suite with a King bed. Everyone working there was so kind and accommodating and genuinely friendly. The rooms were modern and impeccably clean with fresh cut orchids. Gorgeous bathroom,... More

Stayed one night and swayed in a 4th flood room. Room was nice and nit small for the price I paid. Room had comfy bed and adjoining room with second bathroom and living area. Wifi was advertised for my room and I stupidly thought that this was free. It wasn't and they even charged me twice, although one was refunded... More

Having seen dozens of hotels in Manhattan an Brooklyn, the Cassa was a very positive experience. The room was utterly clean, comfortable beds, excellent bathroom with walk-in shower. The location (between 5th and 6th Avenue at 45th) couldn't be any better and the deal we got was extremly good (maybe because the hotel only opened in August 2010 and some... More

I booked a two-night stay here during a business trip to NYC. The location is very good for mid-town meetings, nothing was more than a few blocks walk from the hotel. The arrival experience wasn't bad - after a long flight all I want to do is get checked in and crash in the room. Weirdly, there is ONLY a... More

The Cassa Hotel was such a great find. I happened onto it at Trip Advisor, then went out to their website for further investigation. I hate staying at a hotel to find it looks nothing like the website; this was not the case with the Cassa. The room was expertly decorated and spacious for NYC. The bathroom had a vanity... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
