I landed at the hotel late in the evening after my flight home had been delayed. I was alone in a big city (the biggest) and had never traveled before. They had not received my booking when I had arrived. I was exhausted and anxious....but I was taken care of by the staff. The desk manager, Patrick, got on the... More

The room: A - Clean - comfy - modern Our air conditioning wasn't working, so they still have issues with it in some rooms. Our friends room had airconditioning that worked. Because of the nice weather though - it wasn't that big a deal. Set A/C to 65 and room remained at 73. Yes, it would kick on, was noisy,... More

My family recently stayed at Hotel Cassa for a long weekend of shopping and theater. We brought our 2 year old son and we were very pleased the helpful and thoughtful staff. The hotel provided a very nice pack-and-play system with very cute (and clean) bedding. The doormen (especially Justin and Henry) were always helpful as we came and went... More

All in all it had great rooms and comfy but zero and I mean zero amenities. No lobby or bar or restaurant etc and in NYC a Drink before heading... More

Had kind of a rocky start. Arrived at 2PM and room wasn't ready but bellman took our bags. Came back at 5PM and while I was upstairs in the room a maintenance man let himself in without even knocking. 15 minutes later a maid let herself in to place fresh orchids in the room, again without knocking. Bellman brought up... More

My daughter and I stayed at this hotel in October 2010 4 days. On our arrival the room I had booked was not ready which was some 2 and half hours after the book in time of 3pm. I was told we would have to wait but this took another hour. We were taken to a room but smaller than... More

I stayed here to celebrate with my boyfriend, we stayed for 4 nights, 5 days, and we could not have been happier. We told them we were celebrating our honeymoon initially, but ended up celebrating an engagement instead as things were postponed. However, when we arrived they were so friendly and helpful, that we just left things as were. We... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
