Came to New York in March for the first time. This hotel was just incredible..! Location is perfect and around 2 minutes from the hustle and bustle of Times Square, few minutes to the shopping on 5th Avenue and close to all the main tourist attractions. We booked a deluxe room which was a good size with a really comfy... More

I stayed here on business in October for 4 nights. It is tucked away with a very small entrance and reception. The rooms are a good size and well equipped. Work was underway when I stayed so no dining room or lounges. The basement restaurant is good but you need to book. Free coffee in takeout cups at breakfast is... More

My wife and i chose this hotel for our first ever trip to New York, based mainly on the central location than anything else. After our five nights here we were very glad we chose here, having thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The downsides? There is very little in the way of a hotel lobby or lounge, so if you are... More

My wife and I came to New York for her 30th birthday to see New York again. We stayed previously on 43rd & 3rd Avenue which proved a great hotel but a little further away from Times Square than we wanted. We arrived at JFK and got the NYC Aiport Bus Service from the taxi rank which dropped us at... More

Arrived to a great and friendly welcome. Room compact but well designed and bed comfortable. Very quiet for its location, which is unusual in NYC. I much prefer this to the bigger chains, particularly in New York. Very competitive, so great value too.

Great location for anything Midtown. Block over from Times Square so you will be able to sleep at night. Room was very quiet and clean. Bed was very comfortable. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Plenty of restaurants and activities within walking distance from the hotel.

I stay here quite often for business. Excellent location, close to Times Square / Central Park. Very friendly, helpful staff. Rooms are small as should be expected for NYC but always clean and very well maintained. Excellent restaurant! Love this place and will continue to stay here on future business trips.

5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 19, 2015

We stayed here for 4 nights last week on our first trip to NYC. I was initially quite disappointed as I emailed the hotel several weeks before I travelled to ask for a quiet room as I was travelling with my mother for her birthday and received no response. Check in was perfunctory and my first impressions were coloured by... More

My husband and I enjoyed this hotel. Centrally located, the size is as expected for NYC (small but not too cramped). We didn't go to NYC to stay in the room so that was fine. :) Good service by the front desk. (stayed in 2012)

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
