This hotel is amazing it has the nest location of any in SOHO. The staff is very helpful but definitely a little hipster which we enjoyed! If you are wondering where to stay, this is your place!

Cool wintergarden-restaurant, room was rather small but comfortable. We enjoyed it very much there. Staff is friendly and helpful!

When I booked this I must admit I was a little concerned about some of the reviews, however it seems the more critical ones were written just after the hotel opened, and these issues have been resolved, I cannot fault my stay here at all. The location is great. Very close to the Subway (Canal Street N,Q,R is the closest... More

I stayed at the new Mondrian Soho on Crosby st in downtown New York recently and had a great time. The room was small but well decorated and comfortable. Staff were pleasant and attentive and overall a great experience. Location is very helpful if you are working downtown, if not the subways are close at hand. Overall a fine property... More

We stayed at the hotel for a weeks holiday and were very impressed with the hotel. We had read some mixed reviews on tripadvisor but put much of that down to issues with the hotel just being newly opened. This was our first trip to NYC and we just loved the location of the hotel. The staff were spot on... More

I decided to book Mondrian Soho with the idea to walk around Soho, but sadly we are not at the heart of Soho but rather on the edge of Soho, borderline to Chinatown. The room is rather small.

Thank you for sharing your opinion. One of the most distinctive aspects of our property is our location. We are uniquely positioned in the heart of lower Manhattan, sandwiched right between SoHo and Chinatown, two of New York City’s most culturally exciting and accessible neighborhoods. More

My husband and I stayed at the Mondrian Soho for three nights in August 2011. We hadn’t stayed at a boutique hotel in ages and we were pleasantly surprised. As others have noted, our cab driver couldn't figure out how to get to ‘9 Crosby’, so instead of battling traffic again, we just walked half a block to the hotel.... More

This hotel is beautiful, the staff is amazing! This is a well run hotel! The rooms are newly remodeled and beautifully decorated ( we didnt even notice how small it was), the linens were very nice - the bed was soooo comfortable. Our room was floor to ceiling windows with a view of three bridges and the new york skyline.... More

Our Standard room was practically European small, but functional. Decorated in a very French feeling white wood with bright blue trim, with a modern albeit tiny bathroom. Cute, very Ian Schraeger-like. I have heard that their suites are very impressive. The standard room, though, actually was OK for us for 4 days despite its tiny size. Nice large screen TV.... More

Mondrian SOHO is a really great stylish hotel in SoHo, New York. If you arrive you don´t recognize at first that this is an hotel. A great Wintergarden as bar and restaurant in front of the hotel offers a great place to stay. The lobby is very stylish and I love the design of the hotel. The rooms are in... More

Staying in SoHo

Neighborhood Profile
SoHo
Once the artistic hub of New York, SoHo is now one of the premiere shopping destinations in the world. Housing everything from the most popular luxury brands to swank boutiques you won’t find anywhere else, this is a sophisticated shopper’s dream come true. Broadway is teeming with big-name stores and people during the day, while Prince and Spring Streets are the other main drags to explore. Take a detour down the quieter side streets to see the real star of the district – the world’s largest collection of intricate and elegant cast-iron architecture. What were once warehouses and art studios are now meticulously restored loft buildings favored by many of New York’s celebrities, making SoHo one of the trendiest addresses in the city.
