We stayed at the Mondrian for 9 nights in late March/April and had a very good experience. It is without doubt, a beautiful hotel - very much a boutique feel from the street presence to the room. We have stayed in 3 different NY hotels and this is by far the best in all areas. The location is supurb with... More

This place has great potential - the design is superb, the location awesome, and the view from the floor-to-ceiling windows cannot be beat. The bed is one of the best I ever slept in. For me, that's the most important in a hotel: good night's sleep and a good location. Plus, we got the room at a discounted price, much... More

If you're looking for a boutique hotel in the heart of Soho, this is it! The Mondrian is located one block off Broadway right in the heart of Soho's shopping and restaurants. The hotel is still pretty new so everything is in great condition. The rooms are fairly small, yet standard for NYC. But they are beautiful with floor to... More

I enjoyed the boutique feel and look of this hotel. The restaurant is gorgeous and the public seating areas (inside and outside) and beautiful. The view from the penthouse deck is amazing if you can make it up there! Most of the staff were very friendly and polite. The room was small, but adequate. The beds were very comfy. Some... More

We stayed at the Mondrian Soho for 4 nights and we loved it. It's in a great location, its on a quiet street in the heart of Soho with great restaurants, bars and great shopping nearby. The hotel has a great vibe, I loved the music in the lifts and the bar is fab and always busy, great for pre... More

Stayed at this hotel with a buddy for a boys weekend. It's a very nice but is more suited for couples than for buddies. I would highly recommend this place for a romantic couples stay but with a romantic spin. The decor is very nice and the furniture and style through the hotel is art deco. it 's got a... More

Maybe my expectations were low. But i didnt really like the Mondrian in LA, the clift in SF or St Martins Lane in London. But i was pleasantly surprised. I checked in late (1am) so did wander the ground floor for a few minutes until someone told me check in was one floor up! But while the room loked similar... More

I loved this hotel. Staff was amazingly friendly and helpful, unlike some other Soho hotels I've stayed in. Feels like a hidden gem. My double deluxe room was not huge but just big enough for two. The floor to ceiling windows made for a lovely view, especially at night. Beds were extremely comfortable. Had a hard time figuring out the... More

Staying in SoHo

Neighborhood Profile
SoHo
Once the artistic hub of New York, SoHo is now one of the premiere shopping destinations in the world. Housing everything from the most popular luxury brands to swank boutiques you won’t find anywhere else, this is a sophisticated shopper’s dream come true. Broadway is teeming with big-name stores and people during the day, while Prince and Spring Streets are the other main drags to explore. Take a detour down the quieter side streets to see the real star of the district – the world’s largest collection of intricate and elegant cast-iron architecture. What were once warehouses and art studios are now meticulously restored loft buildings favored by many of New York’s celebrities, making SoHo one of the trendiest addresses in the city.
