This was a wonderful hotel with a very nice restaurant. We did not eat dinner at the hotel, but breakfast was very nice and the service was excellent. The staff was helpful regarding how to get places and providing information regarding the immediate neighborhood as well as events in other parts of the city. We were in a deluxe suite... More

I really liked the Mondrian SoHo, with only a few minor adjustments, it would be a 5-star review, but it's still a fantastic location, a god vibe, and small, but very nicely done rooms with awesome views of the city. The hotel is located on a quiet street on the edge of SoHo and Chinatown, close to shopping, dining, and... More

Dear Sluggo65, Thank you for sharing your feedback regarding your recent stay with us. We are glad you enjoyed our decor and public spaces. I am sorry that our Front Desk staff was not more welcoming to you and can assure you it is not due to the "pricelined room." I will share your feedback with our staff so we... More

Hotel is very nice and so is most of the staff. Location is perfect for shopping, restaurants, and nightlife. Other than a few bartenders in the glass top dining area, everyone was very nice, respectful and helpful.

First, I love the design of this hotel. It's stunning. The lobby with the flowers and it smelled amazing. The rooms were all white with blue touches. With that said the rooms could have used a "deep clean" since everything in the room was white.. the room wasn't dirty not all it just white shows everything. The room was also... More

Dear shanmcken, Thank you so much for your feedback. We also love Benjamin Noriega-Ortiz design. He beautifully re-imagined our Mondrian LA property and will be the head designer of Mondrian Baha Mar. I am sorry that you had an unpleasant experience with the service in Isola. I have shared your feedback with our Food and Beverage Managers who will make... More

We stayed in NYC last weekend and had a really great time. This hotel is perfect in location to SoHo and has great style and panache. Rooms are very clean and stylish and as you would expect a little smaller than an out-of-town hotel. Very nice restaurant with a garden/patio which we will use next time (as it was too... More

Entering through the garden-like entry path shown in the pictures lets one know that this hotel is an Oasis in New York City. The rooms are very bright and inviting with excellent view of the city and the Brooklyn Bridge from the upper floors. As everyone else noted, the rooms are small. Beds are comfortable. An interesting quirk was the... More

Stayed for business towards the end of May as my usual spot (the Conrad) was fully booked. Hotel is an ok location on the edge of the nicest streets of Soho....just the wrong side of Broadway but an easy walk to Soho's great shops and restaurants. A good start. The whole place is focused on being uber cool....it probably is... More

There are problems with uber-cool places. For a start, the staff tend to have too much attitude. Frequently the other clientele have too much attitude as well. Tiresome. Add to that the sacrifice of practicality for the sake of how things look. To get to the reception desk at Mondrian Soho requires a long walk down an alley covered with... More

This is a cool hotel in Soho, just next to Chinatown and Little Italy. It's not that noisy, rooms are small but very nice and clean. It's perfect for a single stay for 3-4 days, I would probably stay here again.

My partner and I stayed in the Mondrian Soho hotel for a week in early May 2013 and had a truly memorable stay. Staying in SoHo

Neighborhood Profile
SoHo
Once the artistic hub of New York, SoHo is now one of the premiere shopping destinations in the world. Housing everything from the most popular luxury brands to swank boutiques you won’t find anywhere else, this is a sophisticated shopper’s dream come true. Broadway is teeming with big-name stores and people during the day, while Prince and Spring Streets are the other main drags to explore. Take a detour down the quieter side streets to see the real star of the district – the world’s largest collection of intricate and elegant cast-iron architecture. What were once warehouses and art studios are now meticulously restored loft buildings favored by many of New York’s celebrities, making SoHo one of the trendiest addresses in the city.
