Clean rooms and that's about it. Dark gym, no business center, no ice machines. Asked for help in gym and no one showed up. Asked for a bucket of ice and nothing. I guess a plus is walking distance to shopping. I wouldn't stay here again.

We spent a night in this hotel in January. It was quiet and confortable. It didn't have the old a/c units that we do not like and it was nice to find accommodations at last minute that we liked. It was a cold night on January and we decided to go to the restaurant downstairs. We were pleasantly surprised at... More

The best thing in this hotel is the location and the service. The rooms r too small for what they charge, and the shower is not easy to use (u cant open it without getting a cold shower...) The restaurant in the ground floor is great, but not for breakfasts. If u need one go to baz bagel across the... More

I was very excited to begin my stay at the Mondrian Soho. I love the dining room! The other public rooms already look dated, as if the hotel is trying way too hard to be "hip and trendy." But the look of my room (while on the small side) was just terrific. However, I froze in my room, quite literally.... More

Love Mondrian Hotels and Mondrian Soho does not disappoint! Great location and the scene is very cool and chic. Love the casual dining room - fantastic ambience and wonderful pizzas. Great shopping and restaurant district.

Love the whimsical mod decor of this Soho small hotel. Have stayed in most of their other sister properties and not disappointed at any of them. Love the views from the floor to ceiling windows. Quality products in the room. Great food and ambiance at the hotel restaurant too.

Soho is a great part of NYC, but be advised that the Mondrian is more Little Italy/Chinatown oriented than it is Soho. Still, the prime areas of Soho are just a short walk away so this shouldn't be a big issue if you were planning to trawl the streets there. The hotel is trendy/cool/hip and maybe not for the person... More

My wife and I stayed here over this past Christmas. At first we were surprised at how small the rooms were compared to the photos on line, but the layout proved to be adequate for our stay. Everything else about the hotel was great, and the location is A1. I would consider returning to this hotel providing the deal is... More

My husband and i stayed at the Mondrian Soho for 5 nights and we loved it! Situated in a great area surrounded by shops and great restaurants, a short walk to little Italy and China town - so nice to be far away from Time Square and the more touristy area. The property is tastefully decorated and the entry with... More

Staying in SoHo

Neighborhood Profile
SoHo
Once the artistic hub of New York, SoHo is now one of the premiere shopping destinations in the world. Housing everything from the most popular luxury brands to swank boutiques you won’t find anywhere else, this is a sophisticated shopper’s dream come true. Broadway is teeming with big-name stores and people during the day, while Prince and Spring Streets are the other main drags to explore. Take a detour down the quieter side streets to see the real star of the district – the world’s largest collection of intricate and elegant cast-iron architecture. What were once warehouses and art studios are now meticulously restored loft buildings favored by many of New York’s celebrities, making SoHo one of the trendiest addresses in the city.
