The photos on the Mondrian website are relatively deceiving, as they depict the rooms and hotel facilities to be much nicer than they really are. The place is nice, but I would describe it as a very nice bar that acquired the building behind it to house the patrons. This building was probably an older, rundown hotel and the Mondrian... More

Great view, great rooms. HORRIBLE, unreliable, slow, sloppy, room service. In 5 days i order food to receive wrong meals, duplicate meals, missing meals... The entire management of the room service area, are OBVIOUSLY clueless.

Great location near several subway lines, shops and restaurants. Rooms are smallish but ours on 23rd floor had a with good view. There was no door on the shower so water found its way out creating a wet bathroom floor.

Dear DCtrip19. Thanks for your comments and your recent stay. Sorry about the water finding it's way out of your shower. We know how annoying that can be and we're working on a fix for all guest rooms where that can happen. Love that loved the views, hope we'll see you again soon. Regards, James More

The location on Crosby street in SoHo is simply perfect. Everything is a few steps away. The Italian restaurant serves is very trendy and serves tasty modern italian dishes. The bar, Mister H, is one of my favourite spots in the whole of Manhattan and definitely #1 in terms of cocktails and atmosphere. The rooms are nice and cosy with... More

This is the 5th time I stay at The Mondrian Soho. It says a lot of course. I really like the location and the hotel as such. If you want to stay in SOHO, this is one of the best locations. The rooms at the hotel are small, but then, so are most rooms in NYC. I usually stay in... More

Dear SemesterNu, Thank you for thinking of us on each of your five visits to Mondrian Soho. I am glad you will consider us for future NYC vacations. I apologize for your issues with your breakfast service and will look into them right away. I can certainly sympathize with slow restaurant service and I know how frustrating that can be.... More

The staff was super friendly and the hotel was gorgeous. You must go to the restaurant or bar for a drink just to experience the place to its fullest. The rooms were small but not smaller than expected and great for a place to crash and shower. It is definitely not place I would bring kids or my grandmother but... More

Stayed overnight in the hotel during a business visit. The hotel is almost hidden behind a long walkway on Crosby street, close to Chinatown and Tribeca. My room was not big but quite spacious and well laid out for its size. There is a great view of the city out the large window alongside the bed, a small work nook... More

Great location and the room was spotless and the views spectacular. There was unnecessary clinking noise from the heater/air conditioner that was heard all night. The size of the room was fantastic for a family of 4.

we booked in for 3 nights and could only cope with the 1 night, the rooms are so small you need to go outside to change your mind. Nice bar and dining area but the rooms are terrible. The room that I was in smelt and my colleagues room was even worse. If this hotel is a 3 star someone... More

Dear howarddayronhans, I am terribly sorry that your stay was affected by this smell. I would love to hear more about it such that we can investigate. Were you and your colleague in the same area of the hotel? You also mentioned that your credit card was "triple slammed." This might be because you originally were scheduled to stay for... More
