I needed to get out of town for a weekend so I jumped an uber, to a bus, and booked the Mondrian on my way down. I checked in with little fanfare and settled into the beautiful room they had given me. I was on a high floor and the room windows are floor to ceiling. The rooms are a... More

GREAT location. Rooms though small (like most hotels in Soho) are beautiful and confortable. The only problem is the service. The staff seems uninterested in helping the guests. It's a shame. They have such a nice hotel.

Booked last minute through Hotels Tonight. Arrived on a snowy night. Wonderful staff. Floor to ceiling windows with a view of the Empire State Building and the Freedom Tower. Comfortable bed and bath. Recommend a romantic although pricey dinner at Isola as well as a their brunch. Parking can be a challenge if you're coming by car.

The Mondrian is a good hotel choice for the SOHO area. The rooms are very modern and comfortable. Speaking of comfortable, the beds are second to none! The only issue we had was that the walls are pretty thin so we could hear what was going on next door. The lobby is very nice although it's hardly a key criteria... More

I am only writing this review in hopes that the front desk agent that checked us in this morning (02/20/2015 @ around 12pm)---i have to be specific, because we did not remember his name :( But he was amazing! Such a nice guy, just really nice and helpful! Loved that we were allowed to check in early and he took... More

I stayed at the Mondrian for a week for business purposes. The location was ideal and the hotel is quite new and that's all for the positive points. I had issues with the heat/AC in my room (as all my colleagues had): it was either too warm or too cold, I haven't spent one night without waking up to fix... More

Dear Berengere L, Thank you for your recent review of Mondrian Soho and of course for your recent stay. While New York City has been suffering from some historically low temperatures, that is certainly not an excuse for our main dining room not to be comfortable. I apologize that your experience was less than pleasant, but wish that our staff... More

This was my first stay at this hotel. (I have stay at the sister hotel, The Clift in San Francisco) The entrance is pretty amazing, a long walk way that is covered by an arch of greenery. The hotel if very comfortable. I had a corner room on the 10th floor, quiet both inside and outside....not too much street noise.... More

Having stayed here for years, I can now say I am switching hotels. WAY too many problems. Air conditioner not working. Had to call twice. TV not working. Had to call twice. Was told at check in that they were upgrading me to a "superior" room. Having stayed here many times I know what an upgrade is. The room they... More

Dear linda s, Thank you for your repeated patronage of Mondrian Soho. I am disappointed to hear that your most recent stay was not as comfortable as what you've come to expect. Did you possibly book your most recent stay with us through a different channel than normal? I am only guessing that might have been the reason you were... More

Staying in SoHo

Neighborhood Profile
SoHo
Once the artistic hub of New York, SoHo is now one of the premiere shopping destinations in the world. Housing everything from the most popular luxury brands to swank boutiques you won’t find anywhere else, this is a sophisticated shopper’s dream come true. Broadway is teeming with big-name stores and people during the day, while Prince and Spring Streets are the other main drags to explore. Take a detour down the quieter side streets to see the real star of the district – the world’s largest collection of intricate and elegant cast-iron architecture. What were once warehouses and art studios are now meticulously restored loft buildings favored by many of New York’s celebrities, making SoHo one of the trendiest addresses in the city.
