The Mondrain Soho is a trendy boutique hotel in a great part of NYC.. the restaurant downstairs was really modern and hip, I wasn't a huge fan of the menu but that's just me; lots of people were there enjoying cocktails and dinner. The hotel itself was great with a well-equipped gym; the rooms themselves were quite tiny and compact... More

I visited this hotel in January 2015 for 2 nights on a business trip. I love it and hope to return. From the minute I arrived I felt welcome and looked after. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful and I was provided with a room with spectacular views - SPECTACULAR! (please see my attached photos). The floor to... More

We stayed here for 5 nights and really enjoyed the hotel. We got a great room in the 22nd floor with a view west. The rooms are small (as expected), but they look nice and are big enough for what you need. The bed was great, linens clean and high quality. Bathroom was high quality. Service was great all the... Having stayed at many Mondrian's around the country I was very pleased with my first stay at Mondrian Soho. The room fit my needs as a business traveler. The only complaint was the noise coming from the heating unit, it was rather clanky and loud. The restaurant service for breakfast needed some help. I had breakfast in Isola every morning,... More

I stayed at the Mondrian for business in December 2014. The room itself was a tad small, but otherwise modern, clean and comfortable. The reception is a little confusing to get to and not well indicated. It is also very dark - part of the ambience I suppose. A very stylish boutique hotel in a great location. However, the client... Clean rooms and that's about it. Dark gym, no business center, no ice machines. Asked for help in gym and no one showed up. Asked for a bucket of ice and nothing. I guess a plus is walking distance to shopping. I wouldn't stay here again.

We spent a night in this hotel in January. It was quiet and confortable. It didn't have the old a/c units that we do not like and it was nice to find accommodations at last minute that we liked. It was a cold night on January and we decided to go to the restaurant downstairs. We were pleasantly surprised at... More

The best thing in this hotel is the location and the service. The rooms r too small for what they charge, and the shower is not easy to use (u cant open it without getting a cold shower...) The restaurant in the ground floor is great, but not for breakfasts. If u need one go to baz bagel across the... More

Staying in SoHo

Neighborhood Profile
SoHo
Once the artistic hub of New York, SoHo is now one of the premiere shopping destinations in the world. Housing everything from the most popular luxury brands to swank boutiques you won’t find anywhere else, this is a sophisticated shopper’s dream come true. Broadway is teeming with big-name stores and people during the day, while Prince and Spring Streets are the other main drags to explore. Take a detour down the quieter side streets to see the real star of the district – the world’s largest collection of intricate and elegant cast-iron architecture. What were once warehouses and art studios are now meticulously restored loft buildings favored by many of New York’s celebrities, making SoHo one of the trendiest addresses in the city.
