The front desk lies and says you "requested" one bed when you asked for two; the internet stinks & is virtually non-existent, so their "computer center" is a mean joke; the prices for rooms and even for breakfast are exorbitant; the advertising photos pretend that you'll get great views, but almost all rooms look onto brick walls; the owners regard... Rooms are a decent size, considering this is NYC, with floor to ceiling windows. Very clean hotel with a nice bathroom. The bed is very comfortable and the glass shower is very modern. I recommend this hotel if you are looking for convenience. It is very close to the subway and walking distance to Tribeca and Soho. FYI-There is only... More

I stayed at this hotel for a business trip in September. I usually keep my business trips to New York City to one night because a comfortable hotel room of good quality is tough to come by at a decent price and in a convenient location. My stay at the Sheraton Tribeca was the first time I was wishing I... More

I took my two daughters to New York for a 4 day, 3 night shopping trip. The hotel was clean, the staff were always helpful, and the location is great. I was concerned after reading previous posts about the Canal Street location. There are other streets to go outside this hotel to avoid Canal, even though we were out until... More

The Sheraton Tribeca is a clean, new, contemporary hotel near Soho. The location was convienient to travel easily in NYC. The subways are nearby. My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the hotel. We were stuck there during the hurricane and we were thankful we had a very nice new roomy comfortable king size bedroom, large flat screen tv... More

I wish there was a ranking between Average and very good as this hotel would definitely fall under this rating. The staff were mostly friendly and helpful and the location of the hotel is excellent. The room however was tiny. This may be standard for New York but $300 a night for a room that only just had enough room... More

There was nothing outstanding about this hotel but it nonetheless is your typical, recently renovated Sheraton. The rooms were clean, the lobby was very inviting, solid fitness center, and a pleasant staff. The location is excellent as well. Don't have much else to say about it because if you are accustomed to the "new" Sheartons then it delivers.

The staff is extremely nice but the property is just regular and the cost seemed high to me (400 usd) the location is very good if you want to be in soho or tribeca and there are 2 metro stations very close. the hotel has an integrated starbucks making breakfast easy.

The Sheraton Tribeca is a new, mid-scale Sheraton located on gritty (but safe) Canal Street (a highly-trafficked through street that runs between an East River bridge and the Holland Tunnel), but is literally around the corner from the best of SOHO and Tribeca. Its 4* rating is reflective of its full-service status, but one should not infer "near luxury", as... More

Staying in SoHo

Neighborhood Profile
Once the artistic hub of New York, SoHo is now one of the premiere shopping destinations in the world. Housing everything from the most popular luxury brands to swank boutiques you won’t find anywhere else, this is a sophisticated shopper’s dream come true. Broadway is teeming with big-name stores and people during the day, while Prince and Spring Streets are the other main drags to explore. Take a detour down the quieter side streets to see the real star of the district – the world’s largest collection of intricate and elegant cast-iron architecture. What were once warehouses and art studios are now meticulously restored loft buildings favored by many of New York’s celebrities, making SoHo one of the trendiest addresses in the city.
