This independently owned Sheraton refused to refund us after we had to cancel our trip due to Hurricane Irene. Poor leadership and bad customer service describe my experience with this hotel.

Had a rough time trying to check in due to lack of valet attendants and parking area in front of hotel. We were initially in 2 double bed room on the top floor (22 nd). The room smelled like mold, due to the shower curtain. I got the head of housekeeping who was quite rude although I got her to... More

Stayed here for a girls getaway weekend and was greeted by David T. at the front door who was just so friendly and so helpful! He was there everytime we needed something and just willing to make sure we had everything! This hotel is in a great location with wonderful cafe's just around the corner! We will definately be back!

The best part of the Sheraton is the location to 3 different subway lines. You can get almost anywhere in midtown Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens from this hotel in 30 minutes. The hotel is new and updated and the rooms are very good sized for New York City. Our room's only drawback was the lack of a mini-fridge and the... More

We stayed here overnight for a tiny getaway. We were very happy with the hotel. The room and the view were beautiful. Everyone we talked to were so friendly and helpful –the staff is truly a pleasure! The club level was was great. It had a great view of the Empire State Building and offered great food and drinks. Having read other reviews I was a little apprehensive upon arrival especially since we had booked our trip through an agency.... LOCATION The Sheraton's location is just ok - on Canal Street which is on the edge to Chinatown (we thought not so nice unfortunately!) but also quite close to the more "in" area of Tribeca and when you walk... The hotel is located between Chinatown and Tribeca/soho. Very close to blue, red and brown metro trains. The hotel itself is very new, clean and our two double bed room was quite spacious in NYC standard. Some reviewers said it didn't feel safe, but I would argue the opposite. It's sitting at the heart of the New York craziness, so... More

Stayed 2 nights here recently. Bid $110 the rooms on Priceline so it was a good value. Great rooms, nice people working there. 100% satisfied with the place. The only thing they could do better is lower the cost of valet parking ($55). I found other parking in lots in the area and was able to print out discount coupons.... More

Staying in SoHo

Neighborhood Profile
Once the artistic hub of New York, SoHo is now one of the premiere shopping destinations in the world. Housing everything from the most popular luxury brands to swank boutiques you won’t find anywhere else, this is a sophisticated shopper’s dream come true. Broadway is teeming with big-name stores and people during the day, while Prince and Spring Streets are the other main drags to explore. Take a detour down the quieter side streets to see the real star of the district – the world’s largest collection of intricate and elegant cast-iron architecture. What were once warehouses and art studios are now meticulously restored loft buildings favored by many of New York’s celebrities, making SoHo one of the trendiest addresses in the city.
