I spent three nights at the Langham during a business trip to New York in September and was truly impressed with every aspect of the hotel. The reception was highly efficient and friendly. The room was large by New York standards with a superbly comfortable bed. The complimentary mini-bar was a nice touch as was the Nespresso machine in the... More

Excellent base for shopping or sight seeing. 2-3 minutes walk from Empire State (number of rooms have empire state building view) albeit our room looked straight into a brick wall. Hotel is 8-10 minutes walk from Macy's, 20-25 mins to times square etc. From arrival to leaving the staff could not do enough to help. Once arrived we were offered... More

I reserved a studio place king room at the above mentioned hotel, at a rate of $695 per night. I checked in at 15:00 only to be told that my room was not ready, at the same time other customers were checking in and they also had the same room type as me, but we're not inconvenienced at all. I... More

We stayed at Langham Place in NYC for a mother daughter week-end with my two young daughters (13 and 9). What an unbelievable beautiful hotel. Not only is the hotel spectacular but the staff is there to wait on you hand and foot. The rooms are beautiful, spacious and clean, my daughters especially liked the TV in the bathroom through... First review I have ever written on Trip Advisor but I was so impressed with this hotel overall that I felt compelled to let others know about it. Beautiful modern hotel in the heart of New York, high standard of room which was spacious with a view of the Empire State Building, free soft drinks and coffee which was a... More

I staid here and found the hotel pleasant but not special as it lacks warmth and atmosphere ,which is evident even as one arrives. This was previously the Setai and was only rebranded about six months ago and they are still finding their feet. This could be a great Hotel if the management get their act together and the planned refurbishment... More

Wonderful hotel. When I looked out my bedroom windows all I could see was the magnificent Empire State Building. How fantastic was that!! The Langham Place Hotel is in the best shopping area in New York. First Class for everything.

I stayed with my wife and teenage daughters at the Langham Place for a short mini break to NYC. Excellent location for viewing the many sites. I cannot praise all members of the hotel enough. The service was faultless at every level. The rooms were spacious with a very comfortable bed - and surprisingly quiet for a city that never... More

I have stayed in many great places in NYC, but the new Langham Place is my new favorite. The hotel is modern and decorated with the standard upscale Langham style. The rooms are a bit small, but this is to be expected just about anywhere in NYC. The bathrooms, however, are quite large with a soaking Japanese-style tub. Staff were... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
