What an amazing hotel with an amazing staff! Days before arrival we were contacted by the personal assistant assigned to us. What a delightful surprise! Upon arrival all the staff we encountered were professional and welcoming. As you walk into the beautiful lobby and leave the bustling and noise of Fifth Avenue outside, you are taken to a place that... More

For what otherwise could be deemed to be an impersonal appearing hotel -sleek, modern lines, almost apartment block like, the Setai distinguishes itself by the sheer quality of its staff, rooms and restaurants. The staff greet you by name and welcome you back as if they mean it. The rooms are THE MOST SPACIOUS by far in NY with sitting... More

My room was upgraded to a very nice suite. Ai Fiori is an outstanding restaurant. The staff provides excellent service. A do not miss stop on your next trip to NYC. The hotel is right on Fifth Avenue and the bar is a great venue for a dozen blue points on the half shell while you watch the trendy folks... More

As good as it gets. We were very pleasantly surprised. It will be our hotel for our next NY trip. The employees all want to help. Front door personnel are very helpful with cabs, the hotel car and etc.

We stayed for 12 nights in 2 rooms. Had our two girls (16 and 10) in one room and parents in the other. Great, large rooms. Really excellent food via room service. Used the free hotel courtesy car once (a Maserati, but driven by a shocking driver to be honest - a tragedy in such a nice car). Service was... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
