Over the years my wife and i have stayed at many NYC hotels. Recently we spent the night at the Langham Place Hotel in midtown Manhattan. From the moment we arrived we were graciously accommodated by the very professional and friendly staff. Our lovely room had a great view of the Empire State Building and our only regret was that... I highly recommend Langham Place on Fifth Avenue. The amenities are nice, modern and minimal. The beds are extremely comfortable - the best ever if I think back and compare to other hotels I have stayed with as well, and especially after a long-haul flight - incredibly essential. Most of all, the staff are friendly, helpful and incredibly knowledgeable -... More

I stayed at Langham Place whilst visiting New York and the overall experience was amazing! The hotel kindly upgraded my room which worked out very well for me as I proposed to my girlfriend in the hotel! The rooms are second to none. Spacious, amazing views and great amenities. The staff at the hotel are extremely helpful and they made... More

I travel to NYC frequently on business, and was delighted with my first-ever stay at Langham Place! I loved everything about it. Outstanding service, excellent food (including room service), comfortable and well-appointed rooms...and a wait staff that is top notch! I will definitely be back at Langham Place, and plan to stay at the Chicago property within the next 90... More

When the hotel was Setai I stayed I'm happy that Langham has kept the same standards. Bar none the best housekeeping staff around! I stay all over the world and have yet to find a staff such as here. They fold clothes organize shoes there are too many details in the details this staff should take pride in. As a... More

Since we encountered some difficulties during our first stay (see my previous reviwe of the hotel), we were a bit worried how out second stay would be. Well, there was no need for worrying. We had a fantastic stay this time. We were upgraded once again and had a corner suite, This one had views of both the Empire State... More

Everything about Langham is top notch. Customer Service is amazing; smiles on the associates faces and always accommodating to the best of their ability. The food in the lounge was delicious and they also have live music there nightly (I believe) which is great after a long day of work. The rooms are one of the most spacious rooms I... More

I keep my 5 stars for the best of the best and the Langham Place is certainly one of them. I could not have picked a better place to stay for my first trip to NYC. Starting off with getting a super deal for a Executive place room, right from my arrival I knew I was in for a real... More

We recently had a 4 night stay at the Langham Place, Fifth Avenue. It's a very modern and stylish hotel which has great appeal when you first arrive on the very busy Fifth Avenue. The reception staff very helpful and we received a free upgrade upon check in after I requested this. We had an empire corner suite which was... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for sharing your recent experience at Langham Place, Fifth Avenue. We have made note of your lighting comment, which we are addressing. All of the hotels windows are double pane; regrettably, it is quite impossible to muffle all of the cities various noises despite the coated windows. We appreciate your feedback regarding the décor of the... More

I stayed in LP for 4 nights as part of a 40th birthday celebration. I have stayed in a number of top hotels in NYC including places like the Waldorf Astoria and NY Palace, but I can say without doubt that this was by far the best and I won't be staying anywhere else in future. I stayed in a... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
