Really enjoyed our three night stay here. Rooms are small but that's NYC. Staff are all very upbeat, young and trendy and a pleasure to have around. Rooms are trendy and cool, bar and lobby area are beautifully designed, very modern. My teen daughter loved it. The location was great if you don't want to be in busy midtown, very... More

The small touches are what makes this hotel great! We Spent 6 nights in the Nolitan over Christmas and were extremely satisfied with the experience. Got into the Hotel early evening and the team at reception upgraded us to a balcony room, petite but very well proportioned with everything contained, well planned and with views of the city, excellent. I... More

I booked a group of business travelers at The Nolitan Hotel who were traveling to Soho for a big PR event with Apple. We had 5 or 6 rooms total and the team was flying in at different times of the day. I received a call on the evening of check-in that they had oversold the hotel but that my... More

My boyfriend and I spent two nights at this charming hotel. So much personality. The staff was very friendly, rooms were clean and well put together, and the view was amazing. Something to mention would be the complimentary slippers. We have never stayed at a hotel where the slippers actually fit. the bathroom floor can be a little slippery with... More

I actually only stayed here for one night on a business trip, but can not wait to go back for longer. This is a well located Hotel with great staff. My room was small, as are most that i have stayed in NYC, but perfectly comfortable and had everything that i needed, along with the most comfortable bed!

I checked in to this hotel for a friends wedding over in NYC. The hotel is amazing. A short walk away from the subway. The staff are friendly and very helpful. My bag got delayed at JFK airport, which I was a little worried about - the reception staff reassured me - helped me everyway possible and even brought my... More

Came to the Nolitan Hotel for a short weekend trip. I am so happy I stayed here. The staff was so courteous and helpful. The rooftop views are amazing. And the Wine/Cheese in the evenings is a GREAT touch. The room design was modern, but had a very comfortable "feel". Also, can't beat the free wifi in the hotel. I... More

After a difficult, unpleasant stay at another hotel, the staff at the Nolitan was one of the highlights of my trip to NYC. Scrambling to get to JFK during rush hour on a Saturday night, I asked the front desk for assistance in obtaining transportation. Three different employees dropped what they were doing to help me, eventually calling a car... More

Our third or fourth visit. Modern clean hotel with small well equipped rooms. Views vary with floor and side of hotel. No formal dining area but attached cafe. Many excellent restaurants nearby. Great location and good value. Staff friendly. Free wifi

We stayed at the Nolitan for 5 nights in December 2014. From the moment we arrived the staff were friendly and accommodating. Our room was clean and tidy, if a little on the small side. The bathroom was a good side with a powerful shower (not bath) and also nice and clean. We had a nice balcony that looked out... More

Staying in Nolita

Neighborhood Profile
Nolita
Despite being just off of busy Houston Street, Nolita maintains a low-key vibe that makes it a pleasant retreat in the heart of lower Manhattan. Short for “North of Little Italy,” Nolita was once considered to be part of Little Italy. Today, the neighborhood is popular with young fashionistas popping in and out of the chic independent boutiques that line Mulberry, Mott and Elizabeth Streets. In addition to shopping, there are cozy restaurants and sidewalk cafes serving everything from new-school Italian food to the world-famous cronuts. While small in size (Nolita stretches just a few blocks in each direction), it’s a great neighborhood to spend an afternoon people watching, window-shopping, and grabbing a bite to eat.
