I stayed at the Nolitan for a few nights in April, and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. For me the location, between the Lower East Side and Soho, was perfect. I also love the Thompson LES, but this time I wanted to try a new hotel, and the Nolitan also seemed well priced (for NYC). Hotel rooms in New York are... More

Based on other trip advisor reviews, location and cost, I decided to book this hotel for my first trip to NYC. The trip was to celebrate my 40th birthday so I was a little anxious that it tick all the boxes. I wasn't disappointed. It exceeded all expectations and I can't speak highly enough of the staff, decor, vibe and... More

We stayed two nights at the Nolitan with our 3 year old and we had a wonderful stay. The staff helped us unload curbside and parking was right across the street. I don't have a lot to comment about because everything went well. No bed bugs, not too noisy. Jim

This is a terrific, small hotel -- room decor is part-loft, part-industrial and all chic. Ceilings are polished concrete, sanded wood floors, very cool bathroom, bed and linens top of the line. We stayed here three nights, first two there was zero sound but the last night, there was a pitched battle in the room across the hall and there... More

I LOVED this hotel. The design is modern with a retro feel and great little touches throughout. The location is great being near lots of great restaurants (you Have to go to Peasant!) and in a gentrifying part of NYC. The rooftop area is great for taking photos of the NYC skyline whilst sipping their FREE wine offerings each afternoon.... More

Great location, delightful friendly staff, comfortable bed. Pleasant low-key lobby, easy to hang out there. Best of all, the bathroom lighting is actually illuminating. So many times bathrooms in hotels are way too dim. This bathroom was well designed and well lit. The only drawback was a noisy heater/ air conditioner unit--at least in the room I was in. The... Though the location is near SOHO, the nearby subway J train is always under construction, so public transportation is not that convenient. Kenmare street is very busy even if in midnight, so it is a little bit noisy. And I don't know why there is always honk. About the room, it is a bit small considering the price, but it's... More

This hotel is within walking distance of great shopping, eating and drinking. Loved the 5:00 happy hour with nice cheese, dried fruit, nuts, wine. Rooms are small, beds are very comfortable. The Cantine Parisienne is excellent.

From start to finish, the Nolitan met our expectations. Check in was quick and friendly. We arrived early and they stored our luggage. We had asked for a Neighborhood King, and when we checked in they had us in a Cityscape Queen--technically an upgrade, but we had wanted a king and they accommodated us. The restaurant that provides breakfast is... More

From check in to check out, the people at the Nolitan got it right. Friendly staff greet you on arrival. Check in is quick and painless. The room, one with a balcony, was spacious, well designed and had everything a guest needs. A safe, plenty of drawer space, a iron and ironing board, a hairdryer, plenty of toiletries, a great...
