Just come back from a stay here with my husband. The one bed appartment is lovely. It's a 15 minute walk to Central Park and Park Lane. The area is classy and well communicated. There's a good supermarket nearby and some places for dinner although we normally went nearer the center. Loved it

We stayed two weeks in late October and enjoyed our stay enormously. My wife never wanted to go to New York so it was with some relief that I found the room to be as expected and for the two weeks we found no reason to regret our choice of Sutton Court. My wife now likes New York! NYC is... More

We stayed here over the Christmas/New years period for 2 weeks and had the best time ever. I travelled with my sister and friend (3 girls) all in our twenties. The hotel and staff were amazing, and I will definitely be staying here again. The hotel is on a perfect location walking distance to most basics like supermarket, banks, subway,... More

I stayed in Sutton Court for 1 week. It was really clean and spacey (especially for NY standards). I fully recomend it.

Sutton Court was a great place to stay. The hotel is in a residential area, but with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. A Food Emporium grocery store is around the corner and a 24 hour Duane Read (drug store) is nearby. It is an easy 5 block walk to the subway. Laysee was very helpful and made booking easy.... More

My best friend and I stumbled across the Sutton Court website almost by mistake when looking for somewhere to stay in NY; and I have to say that it was the best 'mistake' that could have been made! EVERYTHING from the reservation process with Laysee (she's amazing), to assistance in helping us find the best way to get there from... More

My spouse and I spent three weeks in Sutton Court in March 2011. All the reviews I read had been positive and we are happy to add our own very positive feedback from our stay. Our room was very quiet (we requested a quiet room), so though we were in a busy midtown location, we heard nothing of the street... More

Sutton Court is fine - that's pretty much as far as I'd go. The location's pretty good for transport - a couple of blocks from the subway and on a good north/south bus route. There aren't many great places to eat nearby, but there's a good food store just around the corner (Food Emporium, on 59th). Service is pretty non-existent... More

Stayed here for two weeks from the last week of January 2011. The one bedroom unit is good sized and the furnishings are relatively new. The kitchen is well equipped and the bathroom is decent sized and has strong water pressure. There are still some units being renovated so there are some construction noise in the daytime and one may... More

I stayed here 12/6-12/16 and found the front desk staff very helpful especially with deliveries, laundry, etc. The studio apartment had a kitchenette (very helpful for breakfast in the mornings or breaks during the day). There are a couple of supermarkets walking distance and the location near the bridge was helpful when I had to make trips out of Manhattan.... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
