We stayed here 3 nights at the start of a family-reunion trip to New York to try and Kick Off our NYC vacation with some flair. First, the positives: a spacious room, with a decent clear view facing east down 43rd Street on an upper floor (thanks to the suggestion of the check-in agent). I especially liked watching the sunrise... More

It is the second time staying at this hotel. facilities are perfect as ever, but the service is currently lacking and nothing personal. No one greets you, no place to sit in the lobby. I asked the Lord of the reception how much, breakfast, told me 30 dollars each, and quickly said, but you should go around here is cheaper. awesome!... More

The hotel is absolutely amazing; beautifully decorated rooms with a breathtaking view of the NY skyline. Conveniently located near Times Square and close to many theatres & restaurants. If you visit NY city make sure you choose this to be your "home away from home". I guarantee you will not be disappointed!!!

You can't beat the price or location of the Intercontinental. The staff was friendly and efficient. Check in and checkout was seamless. Our room was comfortable and clean. The bathroom was luxurious and the rain shower alone make us want to return ASAP. Our only complaint (and I can't fault the hotel for this) was that our room was located... More

Stayed here from the 22nd-26th for my 21st birthday and upon walking into the hotel I was stunned by how beautiful the lobby was. We checked in with Ashley who was brilliant and couldn't do enough to help us. She upgraded our rooms from the 7th floor to the 31st floor because she noticed it was my birthday, and when... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
