A superb location, merely yards from Times Square. Excellent attentiveness from all the staff. Rooms with breathtaking views of Midtown Manhattan. Danny and the Concierge team are exceptionally knowledgeable and most accommodating. Areas for improvement: - the wardrobe in our room was too small. There was enough storage space in the drawers, but we could not hang our clothes! -... More

I cannot say enough positive things about this hotel & its staff who maintain such high standards. As a family of 4 (all adults) we went to NYC for 5 days. One of our party is seriously ill so wanted to experience Christmas in this great city whilst still healthy enough to do so. Even prior to our arrival I... More

Stayed here with family of 5 and we had two connecting room, which was great. Plenty of space for us all to roam around. Last time in NYC we stayed at Doubletree, and while this stay costs more than last trip, the benefits far outweigh the costs. This hotel is modern and sleek. The room was great along with a... More

Location; perfect - less than a 5 minute walk to Times Square where there's always something going on. In the space of 10 minutes one evening, we met Michael C Hall and Bradley Cooper! Hotel amenities; we were out all the time, so didn't sample them! Ice machine a few doors from our room was handy. Free wi-fi (for IHG... More

This hotel is in the heart of everything you'd want to experience in New York. It's close to theater District and times square and yet it's quiet. Martin's outstanding customer service makes us want to stay here every time to New York! He took great effort to get us in an outstanding room. All Associates in this hotel are just... More

What a GREAT hotel! Service - excellent! Food - delicious! Linens on the beds and towels in the bathrooms are wonderful! Shake Shack is literally just around the corner from the hotel. If you have never been to Shake Shack for a burger/fries and ice cream you are missing a real treat in New York. Excellent location for Broadway shows... More

I was very fortunate to have a second trip to New York this year, and stayed at the InterContinental at Times Square, and it lived up to the reviews and its 5 stars. It is a stunning hotel very well situated off Times Square and is walking distance to the majority of sights as well as having the bus station... More

I've stayed in this hotel for couple of times. It has a great location, charming atmosphere for any season throughout the year. Staff of the hotel is very helpful always willing to assist. The rooms are spacious and very clean. I truly recommend this hotel for families, business travellers or young couples.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
