Good, clean hotel, nothing special. Price too high and service is not worthy the name 'Hilton'.

Dear Edop, Thank you for your review and your word on our "good, clean hotel". I am sorry to hear that the service we provided did not meet your expectations as our staff puts in 110% to provide exceptional service and often hear from our guests how friendly and accommodating we are. We will try harder. Thank you for staying... More

First the bad - no free wifi anywhere in the hotel. This is to be expected from Hilton Good - clean and nicely furnished rooms with friendly staff. Location is great - close to Macy's st Herald Sq and close to Penn Station Restaurant was expensive and food was average. I had a better burger at BRGR around the corner... More

Room on 17th floor was a nice size, big bed with lovely tea and coffee. Couldn't really ask for more from the room. Reception was really friendly and a pleasant greeting on returning to the hotel is always a nice gesture. It is really quite a midtown location which is good for getting around from without too much bustle of... More

Difficultg to find a decent hotel in NYC that is reasonably priced hotel, not that the Hilton is particularly cheap but it remains quite OK in comparison with many places and proved to be well worth its rate. Despite a quite unimpressive appearance from the outside, the hotel is brand new inside. It is well located, very comfortable (although the... More

My gilfriend and I stayed for only two nights, during a road trip across east coast. The hotel is very modern and it is just as it looks like in the pictures. The hotel is in a good spot, close to subway, a short and pleasant walk from union square and the meatpacking district. The price is also in line... More

My daughter and I used this hotel as a base for a theater and fun weekend in NY. It is a block from the subway and a 15 minute walk to the theater district. It is right down the street from the Fashion Institute. The front desk was welcoming and helpful (we dropped bags off when we got into the... More

Room near elevator was quiet Excellent location with easy walk to Madison Square Garden, Macy's, Meatpacking district. Recently refurbished with fashion theme. Better views from upper room. $389 a night is high for what this hotel has to offer. Brand new hotel, nice room. Just a few flaws in this room. My double bed room had the bed closest to the window up against the intake on the A/C, and the bed is bolted to the wall, so no way to move it farther from the A/C... More

We stayed for 6 nights in the Hilton Fashion District and felt very comfortable there. The Hotel is quite new and perfectly located when you want to explore NYC. It is a 10 minute walk away from Penn Station and there are several metro stations nearby. A lot of things are in walking distance. The rooms are nicely decorated and... More

Staying in Chelsea

Neighborhood Profile
Chelsea
Home to hundreds of art galleries, beautiful brownstones, and one of New York’s newest and most popular attractions, Chelsea is one of the city’s jewels when it comes to neighborhood life. The contemporary art scene is an integral part of the neighborhood’s identity, with gallery openings almost every night of the week and countless exhibits to explore. As a longtime hub of gay culture in New York City, it’s also a diverse district with a vibrant nightlife scene. The opening of the High Line, an abandoned elevated train track transformed into a world-class pedestrian park, gave this neighborhood new life as a tourist destination. The High Line provides visitors with a tranquil, elevated space with incomparable views, providing an unparalleled way to experience the city.
