Reading some reviews, I had concerns, all gone on arrival. The staff couldn't have been more accommodating; friendly and helpful. Yes, the rooms are small, it's New York! Free wifi, free water, complimentary breakfast. Great location, lots of bars, restaurants, TOO close to Katz's! :) Requested a room at the back, no street noise. Hurt my ankle, staff gave me... More

Very happy! Hotel staff very accommodating and helpful; able to check in early. Affiliate parking garage a few blocks away, considerably cheaper than all other area garages. Continental breakfast was very impressive for such a small hotel! Clean and tidy room with very comfortable beds/pillows; tight/'cozy' with 4 people but we made it work just fine, we only needed it... More

Stayed here from July 12-17th 2014. The good points. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We had tried booking a room in the back but there were none the night we arrived. Jasmine gave us a lower rate and made sure that first thing in the morning we could move to a room in the back of the hotel.... More

Good location (with plenty of safe, entertaining bars, etc.) and terrific staff, esp. George and Dan. The price was decent, but yes, the rooms and everything about the building were sort of like being in a submarine --- very small. Still, all considered, I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is very basic but the staff is great and the location can't be beat. I have stayed there twice this month and the bars in the area had live music and crowds on a Monday! I found a parking spot on the street. Katz's Deli is right down the block, tons of cool trendy restaurants. It is also... More

Let's start with the positives - it's inexpensive, especially if you get a good webrate. The staff are great - friendly, helpful, all the right stuff, and kudos especially to Kumar in the afternoons, who went out of his way to take care of us. But, and it's a big but, the two-person queen sized room (at least the one... More

Front desk was courteous and efficient with a quick check-in. Locale is less than two blocks from subway and there are tons of restaurants bars and nightclubs within three blocks, all directions. Room was very small (to be expected in most Gotham) but clean and nice with a small fridge. A small microwave would have been nice.

Stayed here a couple of times on business. Bed is comfortable and rooms are actually VERY quiet (the insulation between the two rooms on each floor are incredible). Rooms are tiny, buy that is to be expected for the price range and location. Rooms were always clean and the front desk staff was friendly. Only complaints would be that the... More

The rooms are small, but who's spending a lot of time in them any way so that's no biggie. This stay we were on the 11th floor and the water pressure which was great the first time we stayed there was odd this time - really high then almost nothing. The room was clean, but they never replaced the glass... More

We stayed here for one night since we had to work late and the price was right for the location - never again! We were put in a room on the first floor which was literally RIGHT next to the elevators and the lobby - so aside from the usual NYC noise (which doesn't really bother us as we used... More
